<p> <img alt="Img_1968" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/21429/IMG_1968.JPG"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <u>AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT OF PROJECT</u></p> <p>  </p> <p> In October 2012 we participated in a workshop in Turkey (in the framework of the partnership between the cities of Strasbourg and Kayseri), which was to think about the landscape and built heritage of a half-ruined village on the outskirts of Kayseri : <strong>Germir</strong>. Located in a valley on the outskirts of the city, the inhabitants deserted the town because of work and the rapid urbanization of the Kayseriote  metropolis (1,000,000 inhab.) threatens the flats of the valley.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="L__quipe" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/17801/l__quipe.jpg"></p> <p> <em>International team | Mayor of Kayseri | october 2012</em></p> <p>  </p> <p> <u>GERMIR ° GERMINATION ° GERMOIR</u> (Seed tray)</p> <p>  </p> <p> Seduced by the authenticity of the village and the problems attached to it, we are <strong>convinced of the potential of Germir</strong> valley and therefore their importance in the urban development of Kayseri. To implement our urban thinking led at the School of Architecture in Strasbourg we thought it necessary<strong> to engage in a process that involves people of Germir.</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> We want to create <strong>a cultural space</strong> in a ruin of Germir, birthplace of director Elia Kazan. The aim of the project is to give the village of Germir to read, through the "cinema" seemed an interesting way to address the issue. Wishing to work primarily with the village children in participatory workshops, film, drawing or silhouette are simple and universal ways to communicate.</p> <p>  </p> <p> The idea of the Germoir is<strong> to foster a dynamic</strong> that would allow residents to participate in the transition from where they live and, perhaps in a second time, could trigger other actions in favor of the development of the valley of Derevenk.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Img_1485" height="249" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/21488/IMG_1485.JPG" width="374"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Img_1549" height="247" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/21489/IMG_1549.JPG" width="372"></p> <p> <em>The Derevenk valley and her flats</em>.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <u>THE SEED TRAY, AN URBAN AND PARTICIPATORY PROJECT</u></p> <p>  </p> <p> Our approach is based on the experience of similar and successful by various collective efforts.</p> <p> <a href="http://www.collectifetc.com/" target="_blank">ETC group</a></p> <p> <a href="http://www.les-saprophytes.org/" target="_blank">Association SAPROPHYTES</a></p> <p>  </p> <p> Our objectives are different:</p> <p> _ Consultation with residents on their desires / visions for their neighborhood</p> <p> _ Shooting a film with the village children</p> <p> _ Rehabilitation of a ruin to a cinema during a participatory project for project the film made with the children.</p> <p>  </p> <p> This project is our <strong>graduation project at the end of study</strong>, so it is very important and serious for us. Beyond territorial thinking in the metropolitan scale of Kayseri, we especially want to keep in touch with reality as we have experienced during our workshop. First contact and looking for a place to rehabilitate.</p> <p>  </p> <p> _<strong>1 Week in mid-July 2013 </strong>: <em>Making visible Germir</em></p> <p> Let stones marked by the logo of the Germoir, open-air cinema, in emblematic places of the city. Establishment of workshops around the cinema / drawing in Kayseri to communicate the action unfolding in Germir.</p> <p>  </p> <p> _<strong>3 Weeks mid-July mid-August 2013</strong> : <em>Participative action with the inhabitants</em></p> <p> With the villagers, invest a ruin: clearing, marking the entrance, making chairs with recycled materials.
