<p>D’origine franco ivoirienne, c’est lors de mon premier voyage en Côte d’Ivoire en septembre dernier que l’on m’a donnée le nom de Gnia.</p>
<p>Gnia signifie "la mère » en langue bété de Gagnoa, village où est né mon père. J’ai été profondément touchée par cette terre, son histoire, ma famille que je ne connaissais pas ou peu.</p>
<p>Cet héritage vibrant, présent est au coeur de ce nouveau projet musical, nourri et inspiré par les chants et rythmes traditionnels avec des textes en français, en anglais, en bété. Un voyage sonore, poétique, organique et universel dans lequel j’explore ce que je suis et ce qui m’anime. Nous sommes au début d’une belle histoire et notre musique prend forme. Elle résonne et s’accorde peu à peu avec ce que nous sommes.</p>
<p>Aujourd’hui, j’ai la chance de pouvoir partager cette aventure avec des musiciens de coeur : Gustavo Ovallès, maître de la percussion et explorateur des musiques traditionnelles du monde et Moz, guitariste Congolais à la musicalité fine et colorée.</p>
<p>Of French and Ivorian descent, it was during my first trip to the Ivory Coast that I was given the name Gnia.</p>
<p>Gnia means "The mother" in Bété language of Gagnoa, the birth village of my father. I was deeply touched by this country, it's history, and my family that I either barely knew or didn't know at all before then.</p>
<p>This vibrant heritage is at the heart of this new musical project, inspired by traditional songs and rythms with lyrics in French, English, and Bété. A musical, poetic, organic and universal journey, exploring who I am and what makes me feel alive. It's the beginning of a beautiful story and our music is taking shape, resonating and aligning with our artistic identities.</p>
<p>Today, I am lucky enough to be able to share this adventure with two big-hearted musicians : Gustavo Ovallès, master of percussion and explorer of traditional music from around the world, and Moz, a Congolese guitarist whose musicality is both sophisticated and colorful.</p>

<p>La prochaine étape est maintenant d’enregistrer 5 titres et c'est là que nous avons besoin de vous et de votre soutien pour nous aider à financer ce projet d’Ep!!! Pour vous donner un avant goût du projet, voici un extrait d’une maquette d’un des titres qui figura sur l’EP. Le morceau s’appelle « Jungle ». Un grand MERCI à Arnaud Fradin pour le mix !</p>

Allocation of funds
<p>Cette collecte servira à financer la réalisation du 5 titres:</p>
<p>- 4 jours de studio 85<strong>0 euros</strong></p>
<p>- Le mixage <strong>750 euros</strong></p>
<p>- Le mastering <strong>200 euros</strong></p>
<p> - Le pressage CD <strong>1140</strong> euros pour 500 exemplaires </p>
<p> - Sdrm <strong>115 euros</strong> (Société pour l'administration du Droit de Reproduction mécanique) </p>
<p>Soit un total <strong>3055 </strong><em>euros sans les contreparties </em></p>
<p><strong>Et si on dépasse l’objectif et que le compteur explose cela contribuera au financement d’un clip ! </strong></p>
<p><strong>Pour les contreparties</strong> vous retrouverez des illustrations GNIA réalisées par mon amie Christine Ammour, musicienne, plasticienne, auteure. Ayant écrit certains textes pour ce nouveau projet, ces illustrations se font miroir, plongeon, mouvement, écho de l’univers musical de GNIA. </p>
<p>Les cartes sont des reproductions sur papier dessin en format A5, tirées en 50 exemplaires pour chaque illustration, numérotées et signées par l’artiste!</p>

<p>GNIA illustrations by my friend Christine Ammour, musician, visual artist, and author. Having written some of the lyrics for this project, her illustrations mirror and dive deep into the musical world of Gnia.</p>
<p>The cards are printed on textured art paper in A5 format, and each illustration is a limited edition of 50 prints, numbered and signed individually by the artist. </p>
