Ladies and gentlemen, After a few years lurking in the shadows, willingly or unwillingly, LARSEN & LIES is finally stepping out of the darkness to conquer the music scene with a barrage of decibels and rock-filled tales. The very first album is ready to make its debut on all online platforms and airwaves. Become a protagonist in this brand new rock adventure 🤘🏻🤞🏻 THE BAND LARSEN & LIES is a rock band like hundreds of others in France... but obviously different! Formed in 2018, it consists of 5 musicians with diverse and varied backgrounds. Having all come from a previous electrifying collective where they resonated rock/pop covers around the world, they took their first steps on stage with this lineup in April 2019 at the Puteaux Songwriters and Composers Festival. Driven by a muscular rhythm section, fiery guitar riffs, and a thunderous voice with soaring lyrics, these five storytellers will take you on a journey through their murky waters, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. Their ambition now is to make their repertoire known and share their passion on the music scene in the Paris region and perhaps beyond. THE ALBUM A project launched in 2020 and halted by that cursed pandemic, this album will finally see the light of day under the guidance of the talented Greg CANONE and Damien BADEY. This debut release will feature 6 original tracks carved from a rock rich in influences from both past and present, drawing inspiration from blues rock as well as heavy metal. Here's a glimpse in a few words and notes. Too Many Guitars This unabashed heavy rock anthem speaks of a dystopian universe where guitarists multiply until they invade the planet. It will kick off the album in a powerful way. Damaged Goods Here's an oddity whose alternation between tumultuous and calm moments mirrors the conflicts within the depicted couple. Its screeching sounds and soaring vocals will immerse you in the atmosphere of lovers' quarrels. Now It Begins The crescendo of this song—from its acoustic start to its mesmerizing electric solo—reflects the story of outcasts fighting against all odds to emerge from the shadows. Liar This raw hard rock piece exposes the downfall of an arrogant liar, trapped in his own web of lies. Driven by sharp riffs, powerful rhythms, and cutting lyrics, this song delivers an avalanche of brutal energy. The Writing On The Wall With a catchy riff, impactful groove, and possibly unexpected solo, let yourself be carried away by the story of a character whose fame was written from the start, like an irremediable curse. The Entertainers Play until the end, no matter the cost. That's the message of this grandiose track, evoking the musicians of the Titanic and summoning the spirits of extravagant rock bands such as Queen or The Darkness.
