<p> <u><strong>THE EVENT</strong></u>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> LIVRESQUE  is an event to exchange books and talk about books. It's modern, it's entertaining, in a young and casual style with live music. We want to empower youth through writing and reading.   Access is free, each participant should just come up with a book (it's free because I know  that reading is not their favorite hobby, I don't want to add a financial barrier).      It was initially planned to be held every two months, but LIVRESQUE Number 7 marks the return of the event after five months of absence. Why? Maternity leave. A beautiful baby boy came into my world in March. But, unfortunately, it was also a kind of "money leave". I don't have enough resources anymore to ensure the sustainability of the initiative on my salary alone (baby effect).   So I need your help. Since it began on the internet, I hope this is where the project will have a new life. This is the time to shout the motto of my website promoting literature www.225nouvelles.com  " Let's give voice to literature" ...  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Photodefamille3" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/111612/photodefamille3.jpg">    </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>GOALS</strong></u>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> The goals of LIVRESQUE are:   </p> <p>  </p> <p> -Build a strong young literary community, united and dynamic. </p> <p>  </p> <p> -Create a place where literature lovers can communicate. </p> <p>  </p> <p> -Strengthen links between authors and readers of www.225nouvelles.com</p> <p>  </p> <p> -Empower Youth through reading and writing. </p> <p>  </p> <p> -Increase the celebrity of Ivorian authors.    </p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>SECTIONS </strong></u>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> Several activities are on the agenda :   </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>-Reading </strong> Excerpts from book are read to encourage people to desire to know more. These can include excerpts of the guest author book.   </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Slammeurs" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/111613/slammeurs.jpg">     <strong>-Poetry Slam/Short Story</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> Alone or in team, participants recite texts they have written themselves, sometimes on music.  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>-Music </strong> Singers and musicians perform live. He will briefly present it in a speech, without mentioning the title or the author's name (that's part of the game). During each speech, the guests in the audience note the numbers of the books they are interested with. At the end, the choice of books is done by order of arrival of participants (to encourage people to come on time) and only on the basis of the speakers speech (oh, yes everyone speaks at Livresque ).  </p> <p> <img alt="Livresaechanger6" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/111616/livresaechanger6.jpg">   <strong>-</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Debate </strong> Participants discuss a topic related to literature or they question the guest author about his activities. We have already received Regina Yaou, Benjamin Irie and Kajeem.   </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>-Cocktail </strong> No comments !!  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Cocktail" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/111617/cocktail.jpg">  </p> <p>  </p> <p> Depending on the resources we have we add other activities. Taking advantage of Christmas for example, we offered books to a library.
