Let's cross the Atlantic Ocean together, on board of my 6,5m race boat (Mini650). A solo race without assistance or external communication with land, from September to November 2015: the <strong>MiniTransat</strong>. </p>

An atypical story: in 2009, I bought a boat broken after a road accident. Entirely repaired by myself, I'm navigating on her since 2012, and improving the features still today!!</p>

I was born in France (Ambilly, 74). I'm 28 and citizen of La Tour-de-Peilz (CH), working as sailling coach at CVVT (Cercle de Voile Vevey-La Tour) since 8 years. I've never lost my focus in the last 6 years, that I've been working day and night with one objective: to cross the Atlantic Ocean alone, on my sailing boat!!</p>

I'm training for the race and preparing my boat in the Léman Lake, at CVVT. I got qualified after several races in France and Italy, and 1000miles in a solo navigation in the Atlantic Ocean.</p>
<p>

<p>
Mythic race, the MiniTransat, in the 20th edition.</p>
<p>
- 84 boats of 6,5m</p>
<p>
- No external communication</p>
<p>
- No maps in the GPS, only paper map</p>
<p>
- 20 min sleep every 2h (helped by an automatic pilot)</p>
<p>
- Lyophilized food during several weeks</p>
<p>

Qualified for the race in April 2015, after:</p>
<p>
-1000 miles in different races (at least one with 500miles)</p>
<p>
-1000 miles non stop (not in race)</p>
<p>

<p>
I'm still looking for 24.000€!! Please, don't hesitate to continue helping me even if we get to the target amount!! The first 5.000€ will be spent on the sails, more margin will allow me to cover many other costs!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!</p>

In September 2015, Aymeric will leave the continent by boat to meet the Americas for the first time...</p>

During 6 years, he's been working as sailing coach to cover the costs of his project, and dedicated all his free time in repairing his boat.</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Aymeric is today qualified for the MiniTransat thanks to people supporting him, and to his own dedication and sacrifices, but the costs of this race are still too high (inscription: 2.000€, boat return on a cargo boat: 5.000€, etc). From a total budget over 120.000€, he's taken care of almost everything, but he still needs 24.000€ to leave without any bank credit.</p>

A little breath of air that means a lot to him, we're looking for economic support via sponsors to cover some costs, plus some supporting events and the help of people around. He will not cross the ocean alone. Many of us will accompany him on board!!</p>

<p>
<u><strong>The entire amount of this project will be destined to order new sails for his boat </strong></u>(2 spis, and one gib sail), <strong>but a higher amount will help him to buy new clothes, ropes, lyophilized food, etc</strong>. </p>
