Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Ajaccio on August 15, 1769.He lived there until the age of 9, then was sent to study at Autun and Brienne. His military career will bring him to the top of power. He will be the head of the French state for more than fifteen years bringing to France its main current institutions.
Our key chain, production and traceability
'Made in France' in Caudry in the Cambrésis, Hauts de France.
The history of lace and embroidery in Caudry dates to the early nineteenth century. Weavers embarked on the manufacture of tulle and mechanical embroidery completed the activity.
Caudry still retains its industrial vocation while diversifying it. It shares, with Calais, the title of world capitals of the "lace of Calais", and received in 1995 the label « Ville et Métiers d'Art ». The company Meresse is our partner to make this Keychain embroidered.
A shared passion in teamwork
The edition of this anniversary keychain is part of our business that we have been doing for over twenty years around heritage products. Either as an adviser to museums, cultural sites and local authorities or as publishers of our own collections. With a double commitment: that these products are useful in our daily lives and that they are of French manufacture.
All of this activity is carried out by working with a team that shares our passion for heritage and puts their enthusiasm and competence in these projects.

In addition to this financial aspect, the presale is also valuable as a test. How do you, buyers and enthusiasts of history and the Empire react to our proposal? Finally, and this is not the least virtue of crowdfunding, a way to create a community around the defended concept and make you ambassadors of it.

I remained convinced that French heritage could find one of its strong expressions through objects of memories carrying values and meaning and that they could be disseminated not only in museum shops but also in other distribution channels.
All this through a varied approach: reproductions, inspirations, creation ... but with an essential common point that these objects are adapted to our daily life. Not simply decorative objects that find their meaning in everyday use.
Having worked, among other things, as a council for the Paris Post Museum, we have, starting from the postal archives, reissued under the brand name "Postal Code" the old bags of factors of the first half of the 20th century; bags and wallets that integrate perfectly with the current life.
We had to go further. For this, I created the brand "France Heritage" which opens by its name, all the specters of heritage. To this day, different collections are in reflection and we hope to carry out these exciting projects.
The great team

I also want to thank the current team of thirties around me for their help in style, web, design and computer graphics: Jonathan, Mariama and Angélique (from Canada!)
Thanks to Christian, friend of 30 years, for his talent behind the goal
Thanks also to Françoise for reminding me of the management requirements.
Thanks to Sandrine and Olivier for their support.
Thank you finally to my children, Oscar and Lola for their love, their listening and their encouragement.
And thanks to all of you who are passionate about heritage, history and Made in France thanks to whom our adventure has lasted for 13 years.
