The eco-responsible footwear brand arno bund is inviting you to walk alongside them and take part in the exciting world of shoemaking, by participating in the launch of their brand-new unisex sneakers with a revolutionary design that's unique in the world : the "SNEAKBIES". SNEAKBIES [sni:kbiz] plu. n. (from lat. snækbus) Contraction of the sneakers & derbies shoe styles, resulting in a new type of footwear, both chic & casual. Indeed, rather than making the same sneaker as everyone else, we used our experience as shoemaker to imagine and create a model never seen and never worn before ! While one side features the sleek lines of a sneaker The other one shows the classy aspect of the derby A men's and women's model designed for all the feet (from size 35 to size 47), with a design that not only stands out from all the others, but also has the particularity of being made from the most innovative materials, making it ONE OF THE MOST RECYCLED SNEAKER IN THE WORLD ! 70% : This is the percentage of recycled materials that will make up your future shoe ! A blend of bio-sourced bamboo and corn fibers from the agri-food industry for the upper (here white for this first collection) and the scarlet-red lining. Sugar cane, also injected in the form of 70% natural EVA, is used in the sole, whose lines are reminiscent of those of this famous upper. In the end, no leather but an ingenious combination of revolutionary absorbent, breathable and antibacterial materials, giving rise to an ultra-lightweight shoe : 330g compared with 480g for a classic, but iconic, canvas Converse, i.e. 300g less per pair ! The ultimate... How about it ? Ready to help the Sneakbies soar ? And for the more curious, here is our background : A profession founded on a passion for shoes. Ten years of creating bespoke shoes for a very diverse clientele. The patenting of the famous 12 cm twin-heel for greater stability in women's shoes. The development of a whole range of shoes based on innovative, eco-friendly materials. A pretty good film and music culture. So that's who we are ;
We're counting on a minimum production run of 50 first pairs of our Sneakbies. Each pair will be numbered and delivered with its own Digital Certificate of Authenticity. (This is where you'd expect a pie chart to appear...) And here it is : Unsurprisingly, the lion's share goes in the manufacturing (39%) entrusted to begin to our European neighbors, masters in the art of the sneaker, Portugal of course. But production is nothing without materials. So we're staying close to Porto to equip ourselves with these exceptional natural EVA soles made from sugar cane (17% is what these soles represent in our budget, 70% is the rate of recycled vegetable matter we inject into them !) For the covering of the foot : We're still in Europe, but we're heading for Italy's largest producer of post-leather materials. It's here that we found the white shell and red lining that characterize our first collection, made from 70% recycled bamboo and corn fibers (the 24% corresponds to the share of these revolutionary materials in our costing). A tiny number now... 2% is what the laces represent, because we wanted to please you by offering you a range of three colors. All obviously eco-conscious, they'll be white with red tips as shown in our photos, gold-colored to tie in with our logo, or a pretty cocorico blue ; Home stretch. 12% is what we'll need to give our Sneakbies on the publicity side, to make them even more successful than our twin-heels. And finally : 6% for this amazing platform that is KissKissBankBank, because it is also partly thanks to them that I have convinced you to invest today ; And if we exceed our collection target, what happens, you may ask ? We open an offshore account in the Cayman Islands and disappear off the radar. No, seriously, if 100% of the target is equivalent to our first 50 pairs, 200% would allow us to produce 100, and so on...
