<p> Postcards you can find in a city and often pretty boring (same building, same green space), and not very attractive. A journey to my city Nantes should in my opinion also be a chance to invite your relatives and friends to discover our lovely city's wonders, or to keep a good memory by putting this card on your desk or wall. That's what i myself do when i travel abroad!</p> <p>  </p> <p> I love the idea of the website postcrossing.com: real postcards, exchanged randomly across the world, reflecting the heart of the inhabitants of this beautiful planet. Thus i've bought so far over 500s cards, so I came to the conclusion postcards needs to more attractive. I am also a committed user of soft transport modes, including the daily bike to work and make trips to cities.</p> <p>  </p> <p> I therefore wish to make a series of five humorous illustrations of fairy Nantes inhabitants  (ex. Great Elephant, sea monster, herons ...), also on the theme of the awareness of the use of the bicycle and respect of safety rules. We are all bike-friendly, we are all lovers of cycling, especially for the trip home to work / study (for instance, quotes could be:  "After work, I take my bicycle" or "at night time, don't forget your light ").</p> <p>  </p> <p> These illustrations will be under postcard size limited edition and distribution channel will mostly be local (tobacco shop, shops, tourism office, ...). The illustration of the project below is the first model carried out to validate the interest and support of this project. We will have a booth at Velo-city 2015 event, Nantes Cité des Congres and also next to the official Elephant at cyclovillage.</p>
