10 year after A Tree in Tanjung Malim

I wanna make a short film to send to Tan Chui Mui as my gratitude to her because changing my view for film. A Tree in Tanjung Malim was one of the short film by Tan Chui Mui. When I watching this short film during my University life, I fall in love with this type of visual. That is first time I realize that film can be like that. For your information, A Tree in Tanjung Malim is produce in year 2004, that is ten year ago of this film. I wanna make this short film appear on screening again, but we need have a strong reason what we wanna to screening the short film. So I came out this idea to make a short film (story) relate to A Tree in Tanjung Malim then when the screening session, we can screening the Tan's short film to make a connection. What make me wanna to produce this short because I just wanna say thanks you to Tan Chui Mui. I still remember when I was call for interview in DaHuang Picture. Tan said that, she scare her company can't provide good learning session for me since currently they are less of shooting, by the way, Chui Mui also will focus on China area (making film in China). At that moment, I told Chui Mui how much I wanna work with you. That is make me think that, that is one of the education, not a work. Normally, the bigger boss will unable/unwilling to help young people/just graduated to spend their money and time to training/practice them. So those people are lose opportunity to success in their own life. So I wanna collect the funding here and make a short film to let them (young people) know, just do what you like to do and don't give up because of the environment reason. À quoi servira la collecte

As usual, making film is relate to budget. That is different in Malaysia, maybe the currency problem, budget for making film in Malaysia is quite low, but for person like me (young people/just graduate) are hard to find funding/investment from particular organizer. Besides that, after the film finish shooting, I am aim for do the screenings in whole of the world and bring along my current boss Tan Chui Mui together. I really felt curious that, this type of film are less produce in Malaysia since year 2010. That is not a problem if Malaysia industry do not have this type of film. But it would be a problem for variety style of film appear in Malaysia. We should film the balance between commercial film and art house film.
