Preventing violence against women & children
📍We are an NGO based in Lima, we are working for gender equality and women & children rights. We've just started a new project with a community in Lima called Villa Maria del Triunfo (VMT). ❤️🩹 This community is living in a deprived area of Lima with a high number of femicide : 2015 – 2020: The province of Lima centralises 25% of the femicide in Peru. Villa Maria del Triunfo is the second district with the higher number of victims (15). 2021 : 2500 cases of violence against women in Villa Maria del Triunfo. 33 % have been reported in the police station near the area of the project that we are developping. 🪄MISSION: Our missions with the mothers, adolescents and children from the area of Villa María del Triunfo : - Reduce the violence of gender and increase the access of education. - Strengthen gender equality and healthy emotional development. 🤝OBJECTIVE: - Children and adolescents grow and prosper in safer communities and with tools against all types of violence. - Children and adolescents dedicate themselves more to studies after having recovered what was lost due to COVID. - Mothers are empowered and their learnings increase. ☀️VISION: - Transform social norms to develop social change from the bottom level to the global level.

WORKSHOPS : 📌 Sexual education (12h) : 37$ / person 📌 Violence prevention (12h) : 70$ / person 📌 Classe of information & communications technology (12h) : 45$ / person 🚀 ACTION : - Empowering women and children, preventing violence against them through appropriate tools and increased skills. We have a team of volunteer and professional from different areas that will lead different workshops and activities with womens and children from the community of Villa Maria del Triunfo. We organize activities/workshops at the community every saturday, from: Violence prevention workshops, STEAM club, Sexual education, After school classe, Art, Dance, Yoga, Communication, Languages, to Performing art & theater workshops... 🌟🌟🌟 WE NEED YOU 🌟🌟🌟 Some of the workshop that we would like to develop have a higher cost than others activities therefore we are asking for your support. We trully think that those workshops are very important to reach ours objectives and make a real change in the comunity. 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏾♂️🇵🇪✨ Many thanks for your help ❤️✨✨✨
