Trip in Armenia - Clip Shooting and Recordings
TRIP TO ARMENIA. MUSIC VIDEO AND RECORDING. Kaya prepares a trip to Armenia to shoot her music videos for her newest songs in Armenian. As a young woman emancipated from her family, she has a strong desire to reconnect with her roots and share this journey with some close friends who will help document and immortalize this trip. She wrote 2 songs for this upcoming project: -Ov em les? (Translate: Who am I?). This song is a depiction of the quest of identity in the context of the diaspora all around the globe. For this song, she will be filiming Armenian people in in their daily lifes. The video clip will be introducing the culture through local artists, farmers and people as a tribute to this millennial civilisation and all those who sustain it. The video song will be also touching to some deeper concerns of the artist, treating visually of the situatin in high Kharabagh. - And Marymer (Translate: Our Mother). This song elevates us to some more poetic levels, speaking of Love, God, Nature and our motherly relationship with the sky. From music to spirituality, Kaya reconnects through this song to the traditional Hayrmer, Our Father, Feminine, which is the most famous Armenian christian prayer. For the video clip, she pictured some beautiful shots of the mountains, the churches, the lake Sevan and the ancestral temples overlooking the land of her ancestors. Both songs will represent a bridge between her french and armenian culture and will be adressed to both publics.
