Autómata is a new musical endeavour built from the ashes Lovely Girls are Blind, a Paris-based instrumental rock band (2005-2018).

For 2020 we aim to release our first album, made from songs written in 2018 and 2019.

This fundraiser is to finance the production of this album, created professionally.

Though the name has changed, the music we make (François, Jean-Baptiste, Etienne & David) with Autómata keeps the same spirit: instrumental only, dark, sometimes soft, at times heavier, always airy, melodic and poetic.

We're not professional musicians and don't have a label backing us. That's why we reach out to you today, to help us finalize this project.

Reaching our fundraising target (1500€) would mean a lot to us: that some people out there have faith in our project; that the DIY approach we dearly sticked to in the past should be left behind, so that from now on we can, thanks to you, make this project happen in a professional setup.

And, last, that we get better access to a wider audience and coverage. When time for live music comes back, maybe that will open the opportunity to deliver live shows under great conditions.
