Entre terre et saveurs.

<p> <strong>Between earth and flavors.</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>First and before all it is a 52 pages book, issued in 150 prints in a 21x21 cm format,showing my pictures taken in the Aubrac region, and in the kitchen of the famous "chefs" Michel and Sebastien Bras located in Suquet and Laguiole. </strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Couverture" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/1429/COUVERTURE.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Genesis :</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> A collective project about food in 2011 led me to meet the chef Michel Bras.</p> <p> Like him I have a very intricate relationship with nature. </p> <p>  </p> <p> His culinary work takes his inspiration in the heart of Aubrac. The gardener plants and grows his vegetables. The cook transforms and transmutes the organic matter, playing with flavors, forms, matters and colors. Michel Bras, from his harsh soil raises cooking to the level of an art in a similar way the Artist is diverting the Nature in order to better expose it. </p> <p>  </p> <p> All is by nature interdependant, and so, has no self existence. It is the "non one self". </p> <p> In this regard we can say that one is in all and all is one. My research work in drawing, pictures and sculptures in aiming at explaining this emptiness.</p> <p>  </p> <p> It is an encounter between the "earth-landscape" element, the Cook, the Artist, the Writter aiming at delevering an artwork to the receiving public. A reunion to create together.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>As we go through the book and the exhibition to be held  from 9 to 31st of March 2013 during the "photography du Mans" event. </strong></p> <p> <strong>The diptych pictures opposes the inside and outside, the "earth-landscape" and the gesture subliming this matter. In the pictures in fusion, gesture and matter clasp each other to better melt.
