Dear Kees, here is an answer from Christoph Frommen from AEOLUS: the SACD Hybrid is a double layer disc. It can be played back on really all players in standard CD quality.The high resolution DSD format and surround sound can only be played back on players that support the SACD format:SACD player, Blue Ray player, any so "called" universal player that it shows the SACD logo on the front or in the technical data.

I heard some parts of the Christmas office of Orgue Mystique by Tjeerd van der Ploeg on Spotify and it is convincing although it plays an organ which cannot be compared with the stars played by geaorges Delvallée from 1994 to 2000 (Ste Croix d'Orléans, Saint Ouen de Rouen and St Sernin de Toulouse). Anyway the issue is that Tjeerd's Orgue Mystique has disappeared from the producer's catalog and only 1 CD is available on amazon for 83.54 €. Still on amazon some CD by Sandro Müller are mentionned but only one is available. We need a complete modern version on SACD by a serious producer like MDG or Aeolus or Hortus.
Thank you, yes I understand and hope it will be possible once for a good musician together with a good label. I don't know how much time I have and Jean Guillou and Franz Liszt projects ask a lot... But there are fantastic musicians on this earth ! Maybe they just need an idea or encouragement...! Best greetings
Good luck! Very good idea to record ignored music instead of recording Nth version of Franck's 12 pieces. May I suggest you to pay a tribute to a neglected wonderful composer, Charles Tournemire; only one complete recording of his masterpiece "L'Orgue Mystique" and it is 25 years old.
