fotofever paris is an independent art fair founded in 2011, that promotes the young photographic creation through several initiatives :

> a major rendez-vous at the Carrousel du Louvre on 11-13 November 2016, during the international week of photography in Paris, bringing together 75 galleries from around the world presenting future talents

> start to collect, an initiation program to collecting, encouraging the public to acquire their first artwork and therefore support contemporary creation

> and the publication of the fotofever book, a true art book, offering additional visibility for the artists and their works beyond the event

Spotlight on 2 artists, 'coup de coeur' from fotofever paris :

Muriel Bordier, represented by Galerie Annie Gabrielli (Montpellier), is one the focal artists for this 5th edition of fotofever paris. Her series Les thermes will be presented as a solo show, in the Focus section of the fair, dedicated to the 4 most promising artists.

Photography and video artist, Muriel Bordier approaches her subject matters with humour and derision. Her photographies reveal a humorous and satirical view of the world. She plays with the gap between her artworks and the spectators interpretations, becoming a master in exposing the discrepancies of our perceptions.

Her works La Leçon de Natation and L'inauguration are also featured in fotofever paris 2016 various communication supports !

Juliette-Andréa Elie, fotoprize 2015 winner, rewarding a rising star in the young photographic scene.

Born in 1985, Juliette-Andréa Elie is a young artist, awarded at fotofever paris 2015 and runner up for the Prix de l'audace artistique de la Fondation Culture et Diversité in 2014, already extremely active in the emerging artistic scene.

All her works are unique and are composed of various materiel and techniques, including printing on tracing paper and embossing. In her works multiple landscapes are superimposed to discover a new reality that transports you to a dreamlike world.
