That's the starting point of a crazy , but attainable, idea !  </p><p> </p><p>We wanted to invent a <strong>free video game</strong>, free of ads, that will allow young people to discover what happens behind the scene.</p><p>But, there was something missing. The Maison de la Danse didn't have the budget for such a project !  </p><p> </p><p>The Maison de la Danse team answered the French Ministry of Culture and Communication's call for grant proposals. <strong>Bingo !</strong></p><p> </p><p>The <em><strong>"Défi de la Création"</strong></em> is one of 19 projects to be selected out of, over 250 applications ! This grant made the project more real than ever and allowed us to start getting it in shape.  Unfortunately, the grant is not enough, that's the reason we call on you today !  </p><p> </p><p><img alt="V2._en_-_separation_1_projet_d_tail-1496053778" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/428410/V2._EN_-_Separation_1_projet_d_tail-1496053778.jpg"></p><p> </p><p>The <em><strong>"Défi de la Création"</strong></em> will offer the player the opportunity to <strong>create their own dance company and develop it. </strong></p><p> </p><p>This educational game has been thought up by a number of influencers in the dance world. Every element the player chooses will be added by superposition. </p><p> </p><p><img src="https://media.giphy.com/media/3og0IAK9BTiiF6YhbO/giphy.gif"></p><p> </p><p>Many options are available :  </p><p>- <strong>Location</strong> (Indoor / Outdoor, Dimension, arrangement of the audience in space)  </p><p>- <strong>Choreographic inspiration</strong> (narration / abstraction, dance style, format)  </p><p>- <strong>Choreographic creation</strong> (solo, duet or more)  </p><p> </p><p>Then, the player is free in their choreographic creation. Numeridanse is the first <strong>free</strong> online dance video platform which gathers thousands of hours of videos. It offers a very diverse program each season, which appeals to many audiences, from children to the elderly, including students, families, dance lovers and people with an interest in dance.  No less than 40 regional, national and international dance companies that are invited <strong>each season with more than 141 000 spectators,</strong> which make the Maison de la Danse internationally renowned.</p><p>A place of broadcasting and creation, but also of origin, the Maison de la Danse has become <strong>a point of reference in terms of dance transmission by images and videos over time.</strong></p><p> </p><p><img alt="Visuel-neo-classique2-1494600273" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/423096/Visuel-neo-classique2-1494600273.jpg"></p><p> </p><p>Numeridanse is the <strong>first free online dance video platform which gathers thousands of hours of videos</strong>, the collections of national and international artists, teaching aids and thousands of written resources, with a view to promoting an understanding of dance and its history. From extracts to entire dance works, to documentaries, interviews with artists and dance experts, to teaching resources, to videodance films, Numeridanse offers a broad and rich perspective on the art of choreography. <strong>All genres, styles and forms are represented</strong> and each video is accompanied by a written description and some historical context.The Numeridanse worldwide catalog brings together archives from the beginning of the century as well as more recent works. </p><p> </p><p>Numeridanse <strong>is supported and coordinated by the Maison de la Danse</strong> in close collaboration with the Centre National de la danse and supported by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication (DGCA, SCPI). Alongside these partner organisations, <strong>a network of contributors has built up</strong> around the Numeridanse project.
