Le Lieu Dit is an association founded in January 2015 by Adèle Levy and Lena Petit Doux with the goal of promoting young and innovative contemporary artistic creation. Passionate about art, music, film and travel, they aim to bring together up-and-coming artistic talent found in different fields from a single culture.

They are commited to working towards the promotoion of emerging cultures to a wider public audience.

The first project by ‘Le Lieu Dit’ will be a pop-up in the heart of Berlin, dedicated to creativity, discovery and sharing.

Berlin is a youthful city with a rich past, moving both day and night. You can find all types of trends here, possessing an incredible energy and force of attraction. The capital of Germany has rapidly stabilized its position as a cultural hub for art, design and music.

Young entrepreneurs and artists flock here from all around the world, transforming it into a melting pot of artistic talent reminscent of New York in the 1980s. All are attracted to the experimental and openminded lifestyle that gives this city its “eternally unfinished” urban identity

Thanks to you, Le Lieu Dit will open its doors to Berliners on the 1st of July to the 31st of August 2015, hosting 4 cities, 4 cultures and a team focused on providing insight in varied forms of creative and contemporary artistic expression.

Designed as a pop-up cultural centre, Le Lieu Dit will offer:

- Craftmanship / Young Creatives

Here we aim to maintain the principle constitutional values of equal access to culture for everyone, as well as an increasingly pressing fact that it stands as a tool for development on an individual and social level.

As a general project, Le Lieu Dit’s mission is to provide greater acces to cultural life through erasing social and economic inequalities, as well as preserving, promoting and developing french and foreign artisitc cultural heritage for the good of everyone.

Comprised of a young, passionate and motivated team, we are willing to embrace and represent all aspects of these different cultures in order to make this pop-up project succeed, creating a complete global vision.
