*** The first 30 contributors who took the album will receive a signed exlibris! *** “Le Vagabond des Nimbes” is an atypical comic strip drawn by Amokis Brarlaka, which initially appeared in 2001 in black and white, in the form of a photocopied artisanal fanzine. It's a hallucinatory adventure during during which you will follow the journeys of a wandering warrior, accompanied by a bizarre bird, through a nebulous and phantasmagorical universe. Partially improvised and without words, the story was conceived as a waking dream, a plunge into the dark waters of the unconscious of its author... and of the readers who dare to venture there. The narration being silent, this strange and exciting adventure can be undertaken universally by readers of any linguistic culture. Amokis and Julien are in the process of completely colorizing the 80 plates of the comic, the goal will be to print it in hardcover format... You will also be offered in return : Bookmarks A metal figurine of the main character of the story, in lead-free pewter, 28mm format (D&D role-playing game type). It's the one on the left below. The one on the right, a classic well known to RPG players, is just there to indicate scale ;-) Original plates Exlibris, an exclusive thank you flyer... we'll do our best to add other goodies, depending on the evolution of the Fund raising :-) Rating from Amokis : Attention! It has no connection with “Lé Vagabond des Limbes”, with an “L”, which is a total plagiarism of my work, but in any case, it has no connection ! And There you go...
Allocation of funds
The main goal is to print the comic in a colorfull & hardcover format ! ... ... Pre-sell albums via the crowdfunding platform... ...Promote us through festivals and bookstores, and offer signing sessions. These wanderings to meet our readers are a pleasure that we cannot do without... ... The surplus will be fully used to devote more time to the development of new projects. Indeed, “ Le Vagabond des Nimbes ” is already thinking about the continuation of his strange and prodigious adventures :-) ... ... And There you go ;-) Examples of original plates, in black and white... ...and color plates : Warning : The story contains 2-3 sexually explicit passages, but that is not the main theme ! THE STEPS STEP 1 : €7,000 : The comic strip and its bookmark will be printed in 1,000 copies. In addition 10 pewter figurines will be produced and 5 original plates put on sale STEP 2 : €13,000 : The comic strip will be printed in 1,500 copies. 5 more original boards will be put on sale, as well as 10 additional pewter figurines (these figurines are an artisanal hobby production not easy to produce in quantity :-) Stickers will be added, exlibris will be offered in return... STEP 3 : €21,000 : The comic strip will be printed in 2,000 copies, 5 original plates and 10 more pewter figurines will be put on sale. A postcard will be printed. In addition, we will try to distribute “Le Vagabond des Nimbes” in bookstores in France and Belgium... STEP 4 : €28,000 : Still 5 original plates on sale as well as 10 additional pewter figurines... We will think about other considerations : Set of several other postcards ? Magnets ? Pin's ?... The sequel to “Vagabond des Nimbes” will be started immediately !!! Thank you for your participation !
