SO why would I need you to keep backing the project ?!

BECAUSE my first target was to make up for the funds that I have already collected to complete the recording and the pressing of the first 5 titles,

AND NOW, with you help, I will be able to offer a better promotion to the album, pay a photograph, create a website with a distinct domain name, pay mechanical reproduction rights of the SABAM and all the expense connected to the concert for the release of the EP (renting costs, sound engineer, light engineer, cameraman etc.), artistic residency with musicians,...

BUT MOST OF ALL, if the result is beyond my secret expectancies, then, I'll be able to afford A FULL ALBUM and/or A CLIP ! For which song... let's give you a strong hint :

Who I am !

Hello ! My full name is Léonor but everyone has called me Léo for as long as I can remember. So be it ! LÉO came to me and that's perfect !

Before going any further, here is a proper short introduction in 03 min 03 sec sharp, ;-P !

So now you know I sing, act, dance and dub cartoon voices,... and many more things ! :-P

For over ten years now, I have been working in the music and acting industry. You may have seen and/or heard me on stage in a musical, an ad, a short film or a cartoon.

In 2009, I was the singing florist in la Folle de Chaillot at the Théâtre Royal du Parc; from 2012 to 2014, I acted as « Mi », in the musical show Piano-Plage; since 2014, I've been one of the Two Ladies of the Kit Kat Klub in the musical Cabaret (produced by the Théâtre Le Public) on tour in Belgium, France and Switzerland, and since 2016 I've also been acting as Félice in Kafka, les années Félice, a Belgian creation produced by Alexis Van Stratum.

I also perform on stage with my acoustic band Léo & the Acoustics (Morgan Tuizir, Guylain Domas), as well as with my regular Tiki's (Simon Rigot, Flupk', Michel "Mike Florida" Zylberstajn et Gianni Valastro), in different places in Belgium and France.

My Universe

It's filled with shadows and lights, bright colours, laughters, love and humour, dreams and memories, stamping feet and snapping fingers...and cats! ;-P

All those things that make us human beings rich and complex!

My universe is a mixture of all that I am and have done in my life and of all the musics that have crossed my life.

What I'm made of

Pop, soul, jazz have given me a taste for good music and beautiful voices, french songs a taste for beautiful words...and rock and musicals a taste for show and entertainment !

Names, we want names ! Alright !

Some that come to my mind right now : Queen, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, James Brown, Cabaret, Grease, Disney, the Nightmare before Christmas, Otis Redding, Francis Cabrel, Maurane, Ray Ventura, and also P!nk, Rag'n'Bone Man, Pharrell Williams, Ben l'Oncle Soul, and many more.. !

If I have to put a label on my music, it would probably be : theatrical eclectic POP with a pinch of crazyness !

Well then, I hope that my songs will make you dance, sing and above all, feel ! That you will recognise yourselves and find a bit of your own human's lives, too .

To enable that project, which goes beyond a 1st EP, to come to life, I appeal to you all !

The Project

Music and words live together ! That's what characterises me. Very personal texts but also dreamed ives, imaginary « Me » that I'll never be, inspirations from others, facts that touch me and inspire melodies, pieces of songs and verses...that often come to my mind, I have to admit, under my shower (a true cliché ! ;-P) or when falling asleep. They turn in my head, mingle and unravel until I record them via my « smart » phone;-) !

From recording on a Smartphone to pressing a CD, there's a long way...and on that way, lots of nice encounters !

I am lucky enough to be surrounded by several talented musicians and composers who are right now helping me to compose, arrange and « polish » the songs of the oncoming EP.'

Special thanks to Oliver Lord, Geoffrey Lesire, Simon Rigot, Morgan Tuizir; and Nicolas d'Avell (Mistin Music Productions) who will be in charge of the production of the EP (recording, mixing and mastering).
