MYGREENMAG, TO MAKE ECO-DESIGN HAPPEN! The eco-design magazine
My name is Samuel Mayer, I am the director of the nonprofit organization Pôle Eco-conception whose object is to make eco-design happen! This is the french resource center for eco-design.

Child, to address environmental issues I dreamed of being scientific like a crew member of the Captain Cousteau. Finally, I became a chemical engineer of the environment. I quickly realized that we could influence patterns of production and therefore consumption by making ecodesign; This is why I specialized since 1999 in eco-design. Since then I have developed the non-profit organization Pole Eco-conception whose purpose is to make ecodesign happen! I'm the current director.
After having long time developed and disseminated tools and methods, I realized that ecodesign is not only a matter of experts but must be shared by all if we really want to change things. This is why I created with the teams of Pôle Eco-design and Rafin design and enviscop MyGreenMag the first magazine that illustrates the ecodesign, its practices and practitioners as well as accomplishments. The magazine is bi-lingual French English.
To maintain independence of our magazine, we wish to finance by crowdfunding our next issue (May 2016). Come and join us, you will see we have lots of eco-designed goodies and so you will help us to make happen eco-design.
Everyone agrees that we need to change our consumption patterns in order to reduce our footprint on the planet. But realistically, few product offers environment specifications and the other side industry did not identify environmental expectations of consumers: this is the squared circle!
To solve this problem, Pôle Eco-conception has decided to publish the first magazine on eco-design to promote the development of environmentally friendly products and services in companies. This bilingual magazine provides experience feedback, studies, methods popularized way to induce eco-design in businesses and demonstrate to consumers that there is an alternative offer.
The MyGreenMag is published in 8000 copies once a year. it is distributed through a network of 50 relay centers mainly in France but also relay in Wales, in Spanish Basque Country, in Flanders, in Switzerland and Germany through the European network of eco-design centers (ENEC).
Until now, we get to fund the document only by advertising.
Today most of advertisers want infomercials what we forbid ourselves because we want to remain independent is why for the first time we use the crowdfunding.

Concretely we must fund the graphic design, the resumption of text by a journalist, translation and printing of those documents.
