<p><strong>OSTED </strong>is a french band from <strong>METZ </strong>that was formed in 2018 by Pierre-Marie "<strong>PM" </strong>Rothmann. </p>

<p>We like to label the genre our music as an Indie Rock / New Wave / Post-Punk mashup.</p>

<p>After composing our first songs, we quickly decided to get on stage, make concerts, and share our music in our region. </p>

<h2><strong>MEETING THE RIGHT PEOPLE</strong></h2>
<p>In September of 2018, Jean-Michel VION (who has become our manager since then) gave us the possibility to become the support band of <strong>THE OPPOSITION (UK) </strong>in a great gig in Longlaville, France. For The Opposition, it was a very important moment as it was their first concert in 24 years. According to their close friends, fans and relatives, that gig was one of their best of all time. The whole performance was recorded and a live concert was produced.</p>

For us, it was probably the event that triggered this whole journey!</p>

<p>After several months spent playing live, we are now working on our debut LP, as well as for our upcoming tour with <strong>THE OPPOSITION,</strong> including a date in Paris at the legendary venue "<em>La Boule Noire</em>". The story of <strong>OSTED</strong> just began, but we already want to make our dream a reality!</p>

<h2><strong>LONDON CALLING</strong></h2>
<p><strong>We dreamed about it: we are now going to do it thanks to your help!</strong></p>
<p>Our encounter with <strong>Kenny Jones (Alchemy Studio) during </strong>our concert in Longlaville immediately gave us ideas. We always craved that English- sound and feel, and wanted to include it in our project.<br />
Kenny's impressive expertise only added more reasons to convince us to take that road (<strong>Bauhaus, Prince, Bjork, Oasis, The Smiths, Heaven 17, Bananarama</strong>…). We highly recommand to take a look at his work.</p>
<p>April of 2019, the decision was made; we pulled up our sleeves to get that album ready while our manager was organizing the trip.</p>
<p><strong>We left for London on the 12th of July for 14 days of studio recording at Kenny's.</strong></p>

<strong>Our album will be released on digital, CD and Vinyl record in November 2019.</strong></p>

<p>Of course, we will keep you informed of the course of events. As contributor, we will send you news and exclusive content! For example, we will give you as a sneak preview the name of the album, pictures and videos of the recording session, and an exclusive song in MP3 format to deal with the anticipation. :)</p>

Allocation of funds
<p>As you can expect, recording in London raises more questions concerning the funding than just doing it in France. That's where you can help us!<br />
<br />
<strong>Reaching the 7000€ level. </strong>Here is what we will cover thanks to your help: the studio fees (a part of it), the first batch of 1000 CDs and 300 vinyls, a press-attaché, a part of the promotion, the organization of our release party in November 2019.</p>
<p><strong>Higher than 7000€ : Sky's the limit</strong></p>
<p>The production won't be limited to the first level, as we could do so much with more funding. </p>
<p>If we break the 7000€ level, we will be investing the money into the album, its promotion witch would eventually include the production of a <strong>professional video clip</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>If we get to 12 000 €, PM will offer his DEDICATED GUITAR!</strong></p>
<p>It's decided! If we reach the magic 12K mark, one of the donors (we do not distinguish big and small donors here!!!) will have his name drawn out of the basket and win <strong>PM</strong>'s Guitar. (needless to say that he will have to dig it out of his soul!)</p>
