I’m Claire and I’m the author and POP Girl behind this Jakarta City Guide<em>’s project</em>.</p><p>I arrived 7 years ago, initially for an internship for a year but felt in love with Mr. N and here I am in 2018 living and loving Jakarta! When I first arrived, I turned up to this city and didn’t have a clue where to go, and spent way too much time in spa, brunch and wrong places! Regarding the book I’m compiling the list of places and going around to take the pictures and continuing discovering unique spot.</p><p> </p><p><em>Timeline:</em></p><p><strong><u>February: </u></strong></p><p>Launching the crowdfunding campaign, finalize the logo and e-newsletter template design with our illustrator Putri. It is the time to finalize the list of the 130 spots for Jakarta city map as well.</p><p><u><strong>March:</strong></u></p><p>Visual development and illustration making of Jakarta City Map with Putri</p><p>Testing of the e-newsletter toward a community of 200 readers</p><p><strong><u>April:</u></strong></p><p>Printing of JCM. Go for socializing and distribution.</p><p>Running the e-newsletter</p><p>Building the content Jakarta Book Guide</p><p><strong><u>May-June:</u></strong></p><p>Finalizing Jakarta Book Guide: content, photography, layout and printing</p><p><strong><u>July:</u></strong></p><p>Pick up your books at the launch event! I have today a good relationship with my printers who will help me create a wonderful product for you. </p><p>When it comes to postage, sometimes parcels can go awol, but I'll do the best I can to help if things go wrong.</p>
Allocation of funds
<p><strong>WHAT WILL BE THE MONEY FOR?</strong></p><p> </p><p>I'm looking to raise a minimum of 75,000,000 IDR / 4700EUROS. This will be going straight into printing costs as well as getting the rewards out to you. The biggest barrier to getting a map & book published is the printing costs with most printing companies requiring high minimum orders. Additional funds will also go towards the map & book design and layout. I've specifically tracked down and chosen the most talented illustrator to work with me on this project so I can give you the best possible final product! I will receive the collect and would dispatch it as below budget:</p><p> </p><p><strong>BUDGET</strong></p><p><em>Logo: 3,500,000</em></p><p><em>Jakarta City Map and illustrations: 7,000,000</em></p><p><em>Jakarta City Map printing: 10,000,000</em></p><p><em>Book illustration and layout: 15,000,000</em></p><p><em>Book printing: 25,000,000</em></p><p><em>Spot illustration package: 3,500,000</em></p><p><em>POP MY DAY video 3,500,000</em></p><p><em>Various tools and display printing: 2,000,000</em></p><p><em>Kiss Kiss Bank Bank commission (8%): 5,560,000 </em></p><p><strong>TOTAL PROJECT BUDGET IDR: 75,060,000 (EUR 4,691)</strong></p><p> </p><p>If I exceed the target, I will use the extra money to propose the guide in 4 lenguages: english, bahasa, french and spanish.</p><p> </p><p>According to the statistics, there is 1 chance on 1000 Billion to land on this page.
