THE ORIGINS OF THE PROJECT

After several years of discovering and testing different styles, I am finally launching my own vision of music with this album that I would like to produce.
Indeed, 2020 has been a great year of changes and challenges during which I learned a lot and progressed both personally and musically.

THE PROJECT IN DETAILS
Today, I wish to launch my own style of music, mixing several current electronic sounds with trap, hip hop, orchestral music and a touch of granular synthesis. That's why I wish to realize this project, entitled "Printemps".

This album will represent me, will mark the renewal, the transition. I'm looking to create half dark and half joyful fusions, which defines the artistic direction I would like to follow. This divergent association between two seemingly opposite styles will be emotionally charged and accessible to all musical genres.

To accompany this album, I challenged myself to make a video clip. My goal is to create a video clip efficient, professional and with a good quality in order to retrace as well as possible the scenario which I wish to carry out. This clip will be central, the showcase of the album, because it will bear the name of the project and will focus on the evolution of this season and my songs.

To carry out this project and to realize this clip in an optimal way, I decided to work with the dance academy Néodance accompanied by three choreographers (Cain&Céline Kitsaïs and Marie Bugnon) as well as nineteen dancers. This team, very professional and renowned for the quality of their work, directly understood my artistic direction and what I wanted to convey in the video. They are also used to work on quite original artistic projects.

As for the shooting and directing room, I chose the Diamond SP studio. This studio has a large set and the space necessary to carry out my realization. The project will also be filmed by San Kayzen, who has participated in many projects and is used to work with the Neodance team.

In terms of the script, it's not finished yet and I want to keep it a bit of a surprise until the end!

But the shooting will take place in three stages. First of all, a central dancer, dressed in white, will arrive with very little light, letting only her silhouette stand out and move towards the middle of the stage. Little by little, the light will evolve to gradually reveal the other dancers on the floor, dressed in black, all around her. This first part will mark the opposition between light and dark that the album will put forward but also the evolution of the spring season, going from a cold winter to a warmer season. Then, the evolution of this season will be done through a choreographic dance and lights. To finish, the transition of spring is realized, all the dancers are dressed in the same way and get back on the ground to close the piece.

To accompany this dance, there will be in parallel lights, blurred plans as well as accessories (snow machine, flames, etc...), realized by the Magic fx company to mark the opposition and the transition of this album.

All these details and this scenario are intended to convey the artistic direction I want to follow. These elements are visible through visual references such as the evolution of light/dark as the song progresses in order to define the spring. Also, the dancers' clothes and accessories will be highlighted and will play a key role. Finally, the different shots that we want to realize in the background, such as light shots, flames and blurred shots will allow to mark and put forward some emotions that can be felt.

GOALS :

So this album will not be just a collection of songs but really a showcase for a more substantial and professional project. With all this work, I have several goals.

My goals are to create a first solid, professional, complete and innovative album in order to develop myself. But also, to support with the record companies my real passion and my professionalism to have realized this project in independent. Whether it is the quality of production, promotion, visuals or artistic direction, I really want to realize a complete project.
