The aim of the project is to create a training center dedicated essentially to the study of all Taoist disciplines, such as QiGong, TaïJi, KungFu, meditation, traditional Chinese medicine, and many more . The center will offer various activities related to awareness raising in synergy with other traditional contributions. It will be a punctual reception place in a lodge, and a place to live.

Taoism is a philosophy of life which advocates sobriety in everything and the search for a life in harmony with nature. This therefore goes in the direction of ecology, decrease, sustainable development and autonomy.

The Taoist does not seek to exploit nature as if it belonged to him, but rather to live in harmony with it by considering himself as a part of this nature. He wants to live in symbiosis with his environment and not as a parasite.

The counterparts to the donations are obviously not material goods, gadgets, advertising gifts or other club t-shirts ... in short, no consumer goods. The project aims to be eco-responsible and with a spiritual dimension. So all the rewards are in the form of membership cards, internships and stays in the center, so as to be consistent with the spirit of the project. The counterparts concern all the courses: QiGong, TaïJi, KungFu, meditation, fasting, etc.

The "Essence du Tao" association, created in 2018, aims to organize, promote and manage the various activities that will be offered at the Awakening Garden. These members are the pillars and the first actors in the realization of the project. The Awakening Garden is therefore also an associative and community project.

Considerations granted to project contributors

All contributors will be informed exclusively of the different stages of the project.
All contributors who have paid 50 € and more will receive in return 1 day of free internship (see contributions).
All contributors will be invited to a special day before the opening day.

Help me realize this Taoist center project

A Taoist center in France is an innovative idea, which is totally in keeping with the times. This is a major challenge that I have matured and built in my mind for twenty years, and which really started to materialize with the creation of the "Essence du Tao" association. I am deeply convinced that this is the right time to realize it, because the world needs a place of peace, of harmony, and the Taoist disciplines are in full swing. This Center is a real contribution to the creation of a better world, in harmony with the essential values of the Tao which will carry all the proposed activities which (converging in this direction could take place there in the spirit of the teachings of well-being and spirituality) will take place there.

What is a Taoist center?

It is above all a place of life. A life in calm and harmony, sobriety and unity. In this I would like this center to gradually become a place of community life focused and based on the Tao.
It is a place of study. The study of Taoism and the different disciplines that compose it represents an important part of the project.
It is a place of retreat where everyone can come for a stay out of time, in the calm of meditation, throughout the year.
It is a place of practice, which aims to inspire practitioners and strengthen them in their disciplines.

Some would say: "I don't need a place to meditate, my temple is in me", others will think that we can practice Taiji and QiGong everywhere ... And they would be right.

However practicing in a suitable place reserved for these disciplines for a weekend, a week, or more, allows you to get out of your daily life to immerse yourself in your practice and enjoy an atmosphere and of favorable energies which carry, permeate and help to progress. It also means meeting other practitioners, other disciplines in a spirit of openness, availability and sharing.
