She arrived at the center in march when she was only few weeks old, she moved from a car of the environment ministery to a small cage carried by the center team. Her health seemed good despite the traumatism of being separated from her mother. </span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <img alt="Rose-arriv_e" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/110772/Rose-Arriv_e.jpg" /></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">So she has been pretty fast included with the others howlers monkeys of the center. Back then, the center had 4 of them : the young male Christian and female Beba, and Pablo the few weeks old male adopted by Bacchi, a female suffering of a spine malformation. Bacchi condition is due to a long imprisonment in a small cage. The first time they met Rose, all the other howler monkeys came to reassure her. She also met Lupe the young female capuchin monkey. </span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">This young female directly showed a strong character, using her voice everytime she didn&rsquo;t like a situation, like putting her safe back in her enclosure at night. Her appetit has always been good, her food consisted in melon, papaya, grape, banana, and a milky supplement during the first weeks. </span></p> <p> <span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">Today, Rose spends more and more time with the group of monkeys. The team payed a lot of attention to not stay too much with her, encouraging her independant behaviour, hoping she will have a better second chance in Wildlife. </span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <img alt="Hurleurs" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/110774/Hurleurs.jpg" /></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">This second furry ball is Tigrilla the young female ocelot. She arrived few days after Rose and she has everything of a wild feline. Don&rsquo;t let yourself tricked by her kitty look because her grunt has nothing of a meow. The ocelot is a threated animal in the region of the center and he has the same reputation as foxes in Europe. When young animals arrive at the center, the team is always tensed because they are in a very fragile state being separated of there mother way too early. Unlike Rose, Tigrilla can&rsquo;t stay with another ocelot. There is a lot of things she has to learn to behave like one of her kind, starting with hunting. It is vital that those young animals have as less as possible contact with human being, to not degrade her wild instincts. </span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <img alt="Tigrilla" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/110775/Tigrilla.jpg" /></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">Before to bring there back in there wild environment, thoses young animals will have to spent several months or years in the center to adapt themselves. They will maybe have the chance to go back in the forest, like this group of 5 capuchin monkeys released in february 2014. Animals of the center are only released in protected parks as the one of Machalilla. </span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <img alt="Img_1183" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/110780/IMG_1183.JPG" /></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">If you want to follow the evolution of those two sweet furry balls, you have to simply become godfather or godmother, with a contribution of 75 &euro; or more on the project. </span></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> <strong><span style="color: rgb(62, 69, 76); font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 15.359999656677246px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">Thanks for your support !!!!!!!</span></strong></p>
