Hi! We're Felix and Kenan and we want to help students find the right university!

From our experience as university students, we realized that choosing a university is hard, but choosing the right one is even harder. Together, we’ve studied all over the world, ranging from the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore, and even Ireland. But no matter where we went, we always encountered the same problem:

Our expectations of what university would be like never really matched the reality.

And after speaking with thousands of students from across the world, we realized that we weren’t the only ones feeling this way. So we created Univize to help solve this problem: to help students find the right university that best matches their personal goals, needs, and expectations.

Univize is an online platform that connects prospective university students with current university students. On Univize, prospective students can speak with current students and ask all their questions about courses, housing, or the overall student life at a particular university. In return, current students can earn rewards for sharing their experience and helping other students out.

Univize is not a forum or an anonymous Q&A group. Students can privately chat with one another and be certain that their conversations remain completely private.

Students can see what they have in common with other students (e.g. languages, interests, sports) so that they can ask personal questions specific to their needs.

Prospective students can rate and review current students based on the quality of their conversation (e.g. helpfulness, friendliness, responsiveness).

Current students earn points based on the ratings they receive from prospective students. The more points they earn, the more rewards they can unlock!

In contrast to websites that just provide static information about rankings and statistics, Univize gives students the possibility to find out about the “inside” information (e.g. course load, nightlife, etc.) that’s impossible to know without speaking to current university students.

Not only is Univize valuable for prospective students, but also for current university students. Besides making new connections and growing their personal network, current students can become Univize ambassadors (i.e. Univizers) and earn rewards such as certificates for their CV, career mentorship, and more.
