MA QUALIFICATION POUR LES JEUX OLYMPIQUES DE TOKYO 2021

<p>Objectif : Participer au Grand Prix de Doha pour me qualifier pour les Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo 2021.</p>

<p>Goal: Participate in the Doha Grand Prix to qualify for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games.</p>

<p><strong>Présentation</strong></p>
<p>•🇫🇷 Je suis Victor Alvares de Oliveira, jeune athlète franco-capverdien de 24 ans, originaire de Reims, en préparation pour les Jeux Olympiques. Cette aventure avec l’escrime a commencé à mes 7 ans. J’ai débuté avec le fleuret en pensant être d’Artagnan et je ne l’ai plus lâché. Peu à peu c’est devenu un mode de vie. Je me suis ensuite dirigé sur Paris afin d’avancer dans l’exigence du haut niveau au côté de mon entraineur, Maître Sylvain Privé. Nous avons évolué ensemble sur une préparation spécifique pour les Jeux Olympiques. Aujourd’hui, au sein de la section escrime de l’Aviron Bayonnais, nous finalisons cet entrainement.</p>
<p>Après avoir côtoyé le haut niveau français (Top 20 Junior) et ses meilleurs athlètes, j'ai souhaité utiliser mon potentiel et mes qualités en portant les couleurs du Cap-Vert. Les Jeux Olympiques offrent une mise en lumière exceptionnelle dans une temporalité particulière.</p>
<p>Cette opportunité, je veux la saisir pleinement pour insuffler une nouvelle dynamique pour l’escrime au Cap-Vert et plus largement pour le continent africain. Mais aussi ouvrir de nouveaux horizons à une génération de jeunes athlètes.</p>
<p>C’est mon challenge sportif et sociétal.</p>

<p>•🇬🇧 I am Victor Alvares de Oliveira, a young 24-year-old Franco-Cape Verdean athlete from Reims, preparing for the Olympic Games. This adventure with fencing began when I was 7 years old. I started with foil thinking I was D'Artagnan and I never gave up. Step by step it became a way of life. Then, I headed to Paris in order to progress in the world of high level competition alongside my trainer, Maître Sylvain Privé. We evolved together on a specific preparation for the Olympic Games. Today, within the fencing section of Aviron Bayonnais, we are finalizing this training.</p>
<p>After having rubbed shoulders with the high level French (Top 20 Junior) and its best athletes in Senior, I wanted to use my potential and my qualities by wearing the colors of Cape Verde. The Olympic Games offer an exceptional highlight in a particular time frame.</p>
<p>I want to take this opportunity to bring a new dynamic into fencing in Cape Verde and more broadly for the African continent. But also to open new horizons to a generation of young athletes.</p>
<p>This is my sporting and societal challenge.</p>

<p>•🇫🇷 Aujourd’hui, les Jeux Olympiques sont maintenus. Le calendrier pour les dernières compétitions qualifiantes est fixé :</p>
<p>La cloche a sonné ! Il est temps de mettre en action des heures, des mois, des années de préparation intensives !</p>

<p><strong>Une compétition très attendue:</strong></p>
<p>Dernière épreuve du circuit de Coupe du Monde qualificatif pour les JO, le Grand Prix de Doha (Qatar) aura donc lieu du 26 au 28 mars 2021.</p>
<p>C’est 3 jours de compétition regroupant les meilleurs du monde, plus de 400 athlètes dans la même arène.</p>
<p>La situation sanitaire actuelle nous impose d'être présent plusieurs jours à l’avance sur place, dans une bulle stricte, entre hôtel et lieu de compétition.</p>

<p><strong>A long-awaited competition:</strong></p>
<p>The last round of the World Cup qualifying circuit for the Olympic Games, the Doha Grand Prix (Qatar) will take place from March 26 to 28, 2021.</p>
<p>It's 3 days of competition bringing together the best in the world, more than 400 athletes in the same arena.</p>
<p>The current health situation requires us to be present several days in advance on site, in a strict bubble, between hotel and competition venue.</p>

<p>•🇫🇷 Depuis l’arrêt des compétitions il y a presque 1 an maintenant, j’ai maintenu un haut niveau d'entraînement. Entouré de professionnels, cette préparation m'a permis de développer et renforcer mes aptitudes athlétiques. </p>
<p>Aujourd'hui, je fais donc appel au grand public afin de financer cette dernière ligne droite pour la qualification et concrétiser des années d'effort. Sans votre aide je ne suis pas en capacité de pouvoir participer sereinement à cette échéance capitale pour l'élite mondiale du fleuret.</p>

<p>•🇬🇧 Since competitions stopped almost a year ago now, I have maintained a high level of training. Surrounded by professionals, this preparation allowed me to develop and strengthen my athletic skills.</p>
<p>Today, I am asking to the public to help me finance this final step for qualification and to achieve years of effort. Without your help, I am not in a position to be able to participate calmly and untroubled in this crucial event for the world foil elite.</p>
<p>•🇫🇷 Si le projet abouti, les fonds collectés serviront à payer du matériel, l’inscription, le déplacement, le logement et les repas, pour mon entraîneur et moi-même. </p>
<p>•🇬🇧 If the project is successful, the funds raised will be used to pay for materials (matériel), registration (inscription), travel (déplacement), accommodation and meals (logement), for my coach and myself.</p>
