Voyage immobile - Méditations photographiques

Travelling Still - Photographic Meditations

- Inspiring quotes

- Inspiring people and structures, bound to life and positive thinking

Based on these two complementary materials, experiment freely with photographic tools :

double exposure, overexposure,overcoloration

reprocess printings, mix different technics, pair images, expremient with fuzziness, blur, grain,, erasement, textures, reflections, saturations, out of shot framing

And keep a journal while experimenting.

A few exemple of the alternative technics used.

Technical means : Holga, pinhole, digital... to name a few, but without them being a limitation.

The main idea is to go back to the basics, to feel free to experiment without boundaries in the artistic field, without having to fit in the standards. The only limit is for the photographer to feel in harmony. To make sense with oneself,

The motos for this project are openings and bounds.

Bounds to oneself, to the world, to the others, to let the feeling and intuition speak.

Keywords : gentleness, bounds, light, spirituality, creativity, art, freedom, let go, birth, renewal, motionless travel, this very moment, conscience, grace, stability, trust, enthusiasm, balance, peace, bedazzlement.

I organized this projet to be able to spend enough time on a regular basis on this reseach, to make room for creativity and meetings.

This is the beginning of a new photographic cycle. This will collect artistic material, necessary to canvas editors, attend contests and artists’ residencies.

Who am I :

I studied art and I work a lot in the cultural field.

From an aesthetic point of view I’m fascinated by colours, I like sketching and taking out of frame pictures.

I value gentleness, trust and respect.

I’m looking for simple and poetic images.

My professional backgroud followed 2 main cycles :

the first one was very close to the day-to-day life in the 18th disctrict in Paris

the second, deeply commited in the performing arts, and contemporary circus

the third cycle starts right now, based on ecology and spitiruality, on being aware of one’s acts, on bounds, on alternative medicines and on relationships with others
