My name is Tokpa Korlo, and this is my dream.

To offer my work to the world, free of charge, so that all may enjoy and share in the incredible activity of the Dharma. Help me to fulfill my dream, let us raise Windhorse together. In order to continue my work around the world I need your help! To finance another year of my activity requires the support of our community. I am honored that so many are able to use and share my work, but in order to continue I've developed my Windhorse Rising Project - to involve all of you to share in the merit and activity to spread the Dharma. My work carries me across the globe and to date I have financed it myself as an offering to the lineage. I must now raise 7500 euro for travel, lodging, food and equipment expenses in 2016. Within a single year I can accomplish so much - the opportunities are limitless - I simply need your help so we continue this amazing journey together. If each person were to contribute I could continue to produce video and photo documentaries for the entire year, bringing everyone the Dharma from all over the globe. Even a small offering shares in the merit and connects us all further together.

A second aspiration of my Windhorse Rising project is to further unite our global Dharma family by visiting more of our Dharma centers and organizations worldwide. I am indeed available and my goal is to produce more dharma, nonprofit and promotional projects so let's plan a project together! Visiting more centers, meeting more of you, new video projects, art installations and galleries, non-profit causes, charitable events, the options are limitless. While I am a full time volunteer serving the lineage under Jigme Rinpoche, the entire purpose of doing what I do is to be of service to the Dharma community and humanity as a whole, in any part of the world, under any banner, without exception.

MY STORY

In 2012, based on the advice of Shamar Rinpoche, I left my life in the United States and moved to Dhagpo Kagyu Ling to become a full time volunteer in the support of a Dharma Center. Since that time I have become a wandering nomad without a home, though extremely blessed to have found an incredible way to support the Dharma through photography, music, and film. I have been able to represent our Lineage, to take photographs, make short films and document dharmic activity all over the world for His Holiness the Karmapa, Shamar Rinpoche and Jigme Rinpoche as well as an ever growing list of other teachers, organizations and centers from all across the globe. This is something that has proven to be more wonderful than I could have imagined, and it has given my life new meaning and a true sense of purpose.
