<p> Dear World,</p> <p>  </p> <p> Thank you for the goodies that you sent. Today was went to the swimming pool named after Josephine Baker. It was the best day ever. We have been working hard on our various workshops: instrument instruction, song writing, and dance. In our dance workshop we have been working on an homage to Josephine Baker. This is why it is so special to have visited the pool named in her honor.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Thank you for your support.</p>

<p> Bonjour à tous!</p> <p>  </p> <p> Welcome to our first online crowd fundraiser! We can't believe that we have finally reached this point.</p> <p> There is so much news to tell about the last 24 hours of PARIS GiRLS ROCK's on and offline adventures of crowd fundraising.</p> <p> Some of you may not be familiar with what crowd fundraising is all about, but you are here to support our project regardless.</p> <p> To this we say: Thank You ALL for joining and donating.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>So what is a crowd fundraiser?</strong></p> <p> A <strong>crowd fundraiser</strong> is the new face donation giving. Asking the online public at large '' the crowd '' to support a project by collecting mico-donations online. Anyone can post a project and receive a small donation from anywhere in the world. It really puts the donor in touch with small projects that may not otherwise have a chance to be seen. Many projects are funded by small amounts like 5, 10, 15 or more that you the donor can then pass word along to a <u>friend</u> who also gives 5, 10, 15 or more. Before you know it, the small goal has been reach by many small donations.</p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Slide1" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/36069/Slide1.png" /></p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> People post all different kinds of projects and there are all different kinds of online platforms (websites) that are available. Each platform has their own rules and regulations for collecting the funds from, you, donor. The platform charges a nominal fee only when the goal is reached. This covers the cost of processing the payments and providing website hosting with tech support. Our project is PARIS GiRLS ROCK CAMP 11e and we are happy to be using the platform of KISSKISS BANKBANK. Their rules are simple and industry standard. We've set our goal, and we must reach it or we won't be able to keep the money we raised.
