Yuuts Ruoy platform was created with the main goal of supporting emerging artists.

This project began in 2012, as a collective, with a group of friends from university. We had conversations / discussions / private performances where we developed our creative ideas, individually and in collaboration.
Everything we've done so far has been simply from heart to heart. We have never made any money with the platform and have never had any finacial support. Which was perhaps the main hindrance as we wanted the collective to grow.

Yuuts Ruoy became a social activist program.
The main objective of the platform is to meet the basic conditions necessary for the development of the work of emerging artists.
Space and time, because you have to create time for discovery. Thus leaving, briefly, the artists detached from some concern / pressure / castration related to the cultural system market.

The Yuuts Ruoy platform (now with a bigger team) continues to exist, in his essence:

This is a political manifestation of the position of artists in Portugal and in the world.
It is necessary to be persistent, to risk, to believe and to dream, not to be swallowed up by political, economic or cultural rules. We must create and not let economic problems block this need. After all, the history of art is made not only by a set of works, but by authors or rather by people / individuals. The artistic work is a reflection of the thought about the present time and it is up to the artist to expose it.
All decisions in the artistic execution of the work remain in the field of pure intuition / truth. This expression results in a singular reflection of the being itself, of what it is and how it is. Its own manifestation. Allow it to be abstract, without there being necessarily an explanation or justification about what it does or why it does it.
Art can not be just a business. One must not let this fall into oblivion and support.
We believe that we can all do what we think is our mission here. We are born, we live here. So while we are here, we must be true to ourselves and to the world.
Doing this project is a social activist program.
We don’t want to simply do our job, but encourage other artists to do it. Help in the difficulties we also feel. This project will provide all the necessary tools for emerging artists.
We are a species, the human being and in the essence of our species there are values such as compassion, and this has to exist.
That's how we work, we help each other. Competitiveness is our invention.
We, the Yuuts Ruoy, you, we can do this together and we can prove to the world, to states, systems, markets, that it is important to have artists developing their ideas and that there are healthy and viable solutions to be practiced.
We can reeducate the thoughts of society and remind our species of these small values that we forget every day.
This sharing must exist. We must do!
