TIGRE WildWave

A childhood dream? probably? Obviously, TIGRE is a project that has been maturing over the years as a result of my various musical experiences and encounters. From my first band, 'Umaïta', where I played on a single keyboard, to "The way of life", where I discovered the 'clavinet/wahwah/guitar amp' combo, to "Mess Zero", where I started to feel the 'letting go' through my voice, to "CHOOSE", where I started to have fun in an umbroglio of vintage keyboards, via "Mata Hari Afrobeat", where I was able to try out different colours and sounds. .. There have been concerts, rehearsals, vibrations, headaches, chemistry and failures. (note: you can click on the words in purple to access extracts) And yet, always on this path, quietly, I continued to write lyrics, to compose, to search for my voice, sometimes in French, sometimes in English... and a lot in Yoghurt! Then the planets aligned, I settled in Saint éloi (22), improvised a studio in my caravan and started work on a solo project. In June 2022, 8 months after quitting my job as a welder to devote myself solely to this project, I played my first concert 'Chez mémé' and the feedback was overwhelming. I was booked 2 months later to close the evening at the Lanleff festival, and began to receive offers of dates, including one in April 2023 that enabled me to meet Christophe Chavanon from the legendary KERWAX analogue recording studio. He liked the project, found it unique and immediately offered to record an album for me... a childhood dream, I said? Analog recording studio KERWAX The recording is now complete ! KERWAX produced the album and Christophe was the artistic director. I've just spent ten days immersed in the world... days that were exhilarating, exhilarating, enchanting, intoxicating. I'd like to thank Christophe and Marie for their kind support in the making of this album. What's next for me? Well, I'm discovering the tentacular work of self-production : Distribution, promotion, preparing for upcoming residencies, producing video content, having a presence on the web, finding a press attaché, working on the stage aspect of upcoming concerts... and I'm discovering other aspects day after day. I've got a lot of organisational work ahead of me, which I'm going to have to reconcile with resuming my job as a TIG welder (TIG ... TIGRE, was there any research into this? no, but it's funny all the same). Why do I need you? Well, it's the distribution aspect in particular that I need you for ! If I'm going to release the album in vinyl and CD format, I need money, and that's why I'm launching this fund. The cover is already ready! the estimates for pressing and SDRM reproduction rights too! the materialization of my album "LIGHT ON" is now possible... The mastering is also finished, and I'm delighted to offer you the chance to listen to the whole album on Bandcamp, here's the link...
