2nd Studio Album DEMOCRAZY Nai-Jah & The Kwenu Band

Recording the 2nd studio album "DEMOCRAZY" of Nai-Jah & The Kwenu Band __ Our last album "Masquerades" was released in 2019. Since then, a lot of things have happened in each of our seperate lives. A lot of concerts, festivals, laughter, smiles, a lot of kilometers and a few lockdowns...But what we remember the most is the genesis of a new album. We took our time to create, work, re-work, arrange, re-arrange. Hours turning into weeks, weeks into months and more. We are now ready to hit the studio to record. However, to finalise this beautiful project, WE NEED YOUR HELP We need at least 5000€ to be able to complete our funds for the studio. We think that the best possible way is to offer different goodies in return to each and everyone that contributes. Album RELEASE for Spring 2023!! __ So much Democrazy This album is the result of hours spent at home, in rehearsals, in concerts and in our everyday life, working to make sure we take our music to the next level. This music that is so dear to us, both in the energy deployed and in the message we are trying to convey. Sung in English by the French-Nigerian singer Mahakwe Wadike aka Nai-Jah, the texts are rich in meaning, advocate freedom and above all, the demonstration of human madness, craziness. (demo-crazy) as the legendary Fela Kuti once said. This new album will be produced by the music director Tamal (known for his work with Marcus Gad). It is the continuity of our work whilst gaining efficiency, energy and a deeper sound musically. A huge amount of vibes coming that will definitely capture you !!!
