99 images de l'Inde.
99 images de l'Inde.
For the last 5 years or so, I've been travelling for free. For free means in an unjustified way, without any
other goal than to wander around and take pictures of worthy sights. Recently, I've started to conceive real projects and concepts emanating from each travel.
Proposing a project on Kiss Kiss Bank Bank is also knowing its importance for the rest of the world.
This project was born after three years of Art School and a another one at the University of Graphic Design of Rennes. I am going to New Delhi for a Graphic Design nternship for three months, starting at the end of february until the beginning of june. I will be 99 days immersed, in the middle of everything.
99 days, it's long, it's short, it could be a mess and a mix of discoveries, especially when I have no idea of I can expect. I have decided to focus : 99 days, it will be a picture a day. That means : a photograph, avideo, or a visual object.
This project will consist in a blog fed by a daily entry. When the blog and the trip are over, a book will be edited. My goal is to do the exact same thing for the rest of my trips, and create in the end a book collection with potentially different concepts. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and I think it will be the most important part of the project.
Thank you for everything in advance, thank you for the smallest penny and the smallest encouragement. Thank you for the smallest critique and the smallest interest you will have given to my project.
Here is a summary of my trips "a picture per travel" :
Allocation of funds
I already own a reflex camera, but I have it since 6 or 7 years, and it's probably going break down soon. Moreover, it's not a video camera.
With the money of the fund-raising and the selling of my actual camera, I'd like to buy the Nikon D7000, which is also a video camera (~750€ with no accessories), and some accessories (light reflectors, grip, telephoto lens -the choice will be made depending to the money collected-).
I am also planning on taking a student loan -if I don't get the internship grant- to help me for the housing (~200€/month), the plane ticket (~600€), the everyday life cost and my trips.
The design of the book will of course be made for free by me. For the edition fees, websites like Lulu.com of Blurb.com offer the possibility to sell the books and avoid the pre-editing of them -no need to pay in advance-
I already own the hosting service for the website. I use my own computer and editing softwares.
