ART TO ACT - print ART TO ACT - print sale for Ukraine

An illustration for a donation! Since February 24, more than 6 million people have fled their country, Ukraine. Men, women and children are uprooted and must receive humanitarian aid at all costs to rebuild their lives. We needed to act. So we decided to launch a fundraiser based on what we do every day, drawing. We asked 10 illustrators to draw around democracy and freedom. Each illustration was then printed in 4 color risographs, in 50 copies A3 size. 500 risographs and 3 orignals are available for sale. The Atelier de Sèvres, has graciously allowed us to print the entire production in their printing workshop. Thanks to this absence of production costs, all sales will be donated to the UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency. We believe in democracy and the right to be free and we are convinced that everyone can, at their own level, do something. There is strength in unity! Together, let's make this project a success, an illustration is a donation for Ukraine! Allocation of funds

All profits will be sent directly to the UNHCR, an association that directly helps refugees. https://www.unhcr.org/ua/en The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) act on the field in Ukraine and neighboring countries to protect and assist people who have been forced to flee. The requested shipping fee (5€) will only be used to cover the shipping costs incurred.

Luckily, his entry into art school saved him from a "mainstream" artistic practice, where he learned to "decompartmentalize his practice" and "open the possibilities". Unfortunately, after his passage through the Estienne school and the HEAR, it is quite naturally that he returned to his first love at the dawn of his entry into the professional world. Don't ask him to draw a landscape with charcoal, he really can't do it. But if you ask him to draw a colorful character, a story about an unpleasant adolescence or a cynical gag, he will be there, always with pleasure.

She was born in 2000 in Lyon and now lives in Paris. After studying art in Paris, she published her first comic book, "Comme une grande", which was released in March 2022 by Virages Graphiques. She also produces press illustrations for the magazine La Déferlante and Topo. She is now working on two other projects to be published in 2023 by La Découverte and Virages Graphiques.

He first studied cinema at the University of Paris 3. In parallel, he officiates as a drummer in several musical groups, scours the small and not so small scenes of the capital and then, a little by chance, discovers the drawing. A sudden but persistent passion, Arthur started studying animation. He is now finishing his studies at La Poudrière school in Valence. However, there is no way to forget anything, because Arthur does not really want to choose: he will be a drummer, author, illustrator, director and who knows, maybe many other things!

She likes to talk about her life and sometimes about others, she likes funny and dramatic stories. She has also done a bit of editing and printing, and has participated in the Angoulême comic book festival several times. She has been dancing for a long time, she also wanted to sing in her own musicals but it didn't really work out. She loves bright colors and painting, ink and anything that gets your fingers dirty. Right now she is a student at La Poudrière school, where she is learning to make animated films. Next year she will have graduated and will be moving on to other horizons!

After a childhood spent in the Paris region, she went to the Auguste Renoir school where she later graduated in illustration and comics. Far from being a passing fancy, this desire to draw has always been nourished by the passion for art books and impressionism of her grandfather. There is no doubt that the ink work of this illustrator from Lyon, who now works with magazines such as Paulette, Les Echos-weekend, XXI, or even Kiblind, makes him very proud.

What counts is to give the spectators something to see that pushes them to come closer, to observe, to question themselves.
