THE BRAND

 

Imagined and developed between France and Asia, Bubble Mood sets itself as a bridge between cultures to craft an urban & elegant silhouette with delicate franco-oriental accents. Rooted in the Parisian culture among which she grew up, Olivia dances with the codes of an international fashion, with- out any borders, and twists her bestseller, MyKimono, to a bohemian jacket or an aerial dress. Each piece of clothing has its own design, drawn by and for Bubble Mood. All fabrics are artisanal and our kimonos are put together by hand, with an extended attention to detail and beauty. Each design has its story, being completed evey day by the women who wear them. Bubble Mood wants to make beautiful become accessible, and it has become its credo.

THE DESIGNER 10 years ago, Olivia Gurdjian suddenly leaves to follow her future husband, Lucas, to create their own design studio in Shanghai. On the side she works as a PR for the chinese fashion. Fascinated by the variety and richness of fabrics, textures and materials she discovers in Asia, Olivia seizes the moment and creates her own prêt-à-porter brand. Bubble Mood is born, and grows slowly towards its iconic item: the kimono.

OUR ETHICAL MANIFESTO & OUR CREATIONS Bubble Mood takes pride in creating unique designs from within, but also around our structure. Our goal is to stand against the standardization of fashion, and its harmful industry. We value working with people, and having fair and honest deals with the craftswomen, craftsmen, and the tribes we work with, as they also gratify us with their knowledge, skills, and talents. Together we create an amazing combination of ideas, ethics and savoir-faire from various horizons.   Bubble Mood only works with natural materials. Our patterns are drawn in-house, by our artistic team. We work with human-sized structures, that share our convictions. From fabrics, to weavings or embroideries, each component comes from tribal know how and local craftsmen. This is our vision of fashion, and we hope you with by us.

BUBBLE MOOD NEEDS YOU !   So far, we have managed to develop with our own inputs, and grow by working hard rather than asking fo further investments. Bubble Mood is a self made brand, pushed by her founder, Olivia Gurdjian, her husband Lucas, and the faithful passionate and devoted team they help them since the beginnings. We have, slowly, started to earn recognition from the media.

Today Bubble Mood has arrived to a crucial step of it’s young existence, and will need to grow and extend its shop networks, and thus, get to be acknowledged by professionals. We’ve had the chance of being approached by French Rebellion, a relent incubator, specializing in developing young french brands on the american market. We were offered to take part in the Capsule Show next september : “Capsule is the fashion and lifestyle trade event that fuses the best high-end, progressive brands and directional, independent designers.” This is a real opportunity for an imaging brand like us, as shows like this one is a must for us to obtain a real credibility.
