"ERASE MY MEMORY" - 3ÈME ALBUM DE NEHL AËLIN

Hello everyone, I have the great pleasure to introduce you to my 3rd album, entitled "ERASE MY MEMORY", which is scheduled for release in November 2022. 20 years have already passed since my first self-produced demo: "Somewhere between Tori Amos and Dead Can Dance, Demons' Abortion is a compendium of delicacy, intelligence and beauty." (Elegy) I worked on a 1st album, Ghost of a Child, released in 2005, having the chance to be selected by SACEM, to obtain aid for self-production: "Ambitious, original, surprising and successful" (Longueur d'ondes). I sent this 1st album to the famous film director Jean-Pierre Jeunet: I had the chance to meet him and he immediately offered me his support. Some time later, my 2nd opus was finalized, Le Monde saha, and the German label Danse Macabre offered me a contract: "The World of Nehl Aëlin is therefore as lush as it is bewitching, and its exploration is not close to us. weary...” (Premonition). At the same time, I was working with Akphaezya, my metal band, and we released two albums during this period. With the rock band Cerise, we released an EP. And then, I started to write in French, and to invest in virtual orchestral sounds: in 2016, I launched crowdfunding here, for the project La Dame qui Piquait les Coeurs, released in 2018: "Between French song and film music, she draws a powerfully evocative concept album, with rich orchestration, whose dark and whimsical atmosphere recalls the films of Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Tim Burton." (Coyote Mag) For 4 years, I've been working on 3 albums at the same time, and one of them is finalized! I make you discover with great pleasure my 3rd album Erase my memory, with the magnificent visual created by the German artist Ars Fantasio. As the name suggests, I went back to English! Why a cyborg woman in a jacket? We often fantasize about being able to erase our memory following a painful event, by simply pressing a button, like in the movie "Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind". That's the whole point of this album, marked by an Electro Pop universe, influenced by artists such as Bjork, Tori Amos, Nine Inch Nails, Apparat and Woodkid.
