EUREKA - World Tour 2017 : des idées pour un monde meilleur !

THE PROJECT

Post1fb-1475306021

We are Charlotte & Grégoire, students at NEOMA Business School and PARIS-DAUPHINE University. We are both co-founders of Eureka World Tour - 2017.

In April 2017, we will leave for four months all over the World to support and promote innovative and creative initiatives with positive impacts for the World (Health, education, environment, citizenship ...)

Charities, foundations, entrepreneurs, creative agencies... we will meet everyone involved in building a better world through audacity and creativity.

We will bring visibility to all these ideas to support their development. And as far as possible, we will provide help on the ground and discover how the project comes to life.

We will share our World Tour through our digital ecosystem.

OUR INVOLVMENT

For several weeks, we investigated and have looked for the most innovative, creative and smartest initiatives led all around the World by charities or social businesses.

We defined our main selection criteria :

CREATIVITY - SOCIAL IMPACT - ETHICAL FIBER

Discover 2 projects we support  !

1. Braille Bricks (BRAZIL)

The idea? Turn Lego-style blocks into a Braille alphabet that could help visually impaired children learn to read their support networks. The bricks become a form of play that can also include sighted children, thereby better integrating those with visual impairments.

An amazing idea developped by the nonprofit Dorina Nowill Foundation (which is “dedicated to the social inclusion of people with visual impairments…”), and the Lew’Lara\TBWA agency,

2. Soap Bus Tickets (SRI LANKA) : the first-ever bus ticket made of soap

Crowded buses are notorious hotbeds for spreading disease. And many illnesses, from colds to flus to hepatitis, can be stopped in their tracks when you wash your hands regularly.

The solution? To crate paper fused with soap and filled ticket rolls with it, eliminating two problems: the hygiene and safety issue, and the wastefulness of the temporary bus ticket given to passengers when they board.

An initiative led by Asiri Hospital Group and Leo Burnett

Allocation of funds

To concretize our project, we need SUPPORT

We estimated a total budget of 12 000 euros (travel costs, local expenses, equipment, insurance...)

Detailed Budget :

Flights tickets  = 7 500

Equipment = 350

Administration  =200

Vaccines = 250

Everyday life (meals, accommodation, transports) = 3 500

TOTAL Budget = 11 800

All funds raised will be used to cover travel expenses. Furthermore, funds will help us to create a magazine we will launch once we will back. This magazine will be the mean to relate our adventure and share our discoveries and experiences.

If the collection exceed the estimated amount, we could consider lto aunch the travel guide we will make during our world tour in a paper version.

Then, thanks to your donations and generosity that our project will come to life!
