FLUTES IN SITU Season 3
Flutes in situ, the original Youtube channel that showcases remarkable places by celebrating the recorder, a world away from its old-fashioned image! Our team: Laura Pok and Nathalie Houtman: recorders Aurélie Maestre Vicario: production Lucas Lauwers: sound Two years ago, we created the Flutes in Situ channel to showcase the recorder in remarkable locations. We are lucky enough to meet the guardians of these places, who share a little of their history with the camera and help us discover the magic of these unusual places. We travel with our cheerful team (Aurélie Maestre Vicario, production and Lucas Lauwers, sound) and occasional guests, to all these places steeped in history, to let our instruments resonate. Unfortunately, our subsidy has not been renewed for this year, so we need your support to keep this original channel going! We've already produced 19 vignettes in a wide variety of styles and atmospheres, and they're proving a big hit with recorder fans. Over 53,000 views. An audience mainly in Belgium and France, but also in the USA, UK, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Nepal, Italy, Germany, Israel, Australia... All arrangements are made by our ensemble. With your help, we hope to keep this musical adventure going!
Allocation of funds
The production of a video clip costs 500€. The funds raised will enable us to produce 7 vignettes (including expenses for sound and image editing, guest musicians and transport).

CD of our new opus "Tandem"

Our new recording "Tandem" will be released in March-April. This program is an ode to transcription. Transcription was widely used in the 18th century by recorder players wishing to adapt pieces written for other instruments to their instrument. pieces written for other instruments. This is exactly what we have done, weaving a varied patchwork of pieces ranging from the Middle Ages to the end of the 18th century.
