Une performance d'1h20 au cours de laquelle les 7 comédiens de la compagnie BRANLE-BAS D'ARTS interprètent une multitude de personnages, chantent, jouent de la musique, et passent du rire aux larmes.</p>

<strong>LA PIÈCE DE BERTOLT BRECHT</strong></p>

« Grand-peur et misère du IIIème Reich » naît en 1934 de la volonté de Bertolt Brecht et de son assistante Margarete Steffin, de rassembler un matériau composé de coupures de presse et de témoignages sur la vie quotidienne en Allemagne sous la dictature hitlérienne. Le titre fait allusion au roman « Splendeurs et misères des courtisanes » de Balzac, et inscrit donc la pièce dans une lignée de peintures naturalistes de la société allemande de l'avant-guerre, brossant un large tableau allant du monde ouvrier à la magistrature en passant par la petite bourgeoisie.</p>

<p dir="ltr">
La création de huit scènes aura lieu en mai 1938 à Paris devant un public essentiellement composé d'émigrés. Certaines scènes seront également publiées dans des revues d'émigrés visant à alerter l'opinion publique sur la réalité de la dictature en Allemagne et signalant le danger d'une guerre imminente.</p>

Ce n'est cependant qu'après la Seconde Guerre mondiale que la pièce rencontrera son succès, car elle montre, comme le disait Brecht lui-même, « la précarité évidente du IIIème Reich, dans toutes ses ramifications, contenue uniquement par la force ».</p>

<p dir="ltr">
Aujourd'hui encore, « Grand-peur et misère du IIIème Reich » résonne comme un avertissement contre toute forme de système absolu et reste l'un des textes clés du</p>
<p dir="ltr">
vingtième siècle et au-delà. C’est un manifeste qui invite à lutter contre toute forme politique basée sur la discrimination et sur la crainte.</p>

<strong>L’ADAPTATION DE LA PIÈCE PAR LA COMPAGNIE BRANLE-BAS D'ARTS</strong></p>

Passionnés de lettres et d'histoire, nous nous sommes pris à rêver de cette pièce, de ces personnages dont l'histoire nous est brièvement présentée, puis qui disparaissent juste au moment où l'on s'attachait à eux, sans nous conter la fin de leur aventure.</p>

La Seconde Guerre mondiale est un sujet traité en long et en large. Il ne nous serait pas possible d'énumérer tous les livres que nous avons pu lire à ce sujet, ni les films que nous avons pu voir. Et pourtant la plupart d'entre eux ne traite que de la guerre et de ses conséquences, de la résistance française ou de la Shoah. Mais rares sont ceux qui nous présentent la vie quotidienne du peuple allemand et qui nous aident à comprendre comment une telle barbarie a pu bourgeonner et s'épanouir. Les conditions des Allemands sous le IIIème Reich, qu’ils soient «aryens», juifs ou tsiganes, sont rarement abordées dans les manuels scolaires, et les mouvements de résistance allemands contre le parti national-socialiste ne sont que peu connus des Français. Il semble que le sujet soit volontairement laissé de côté, car il est plus facile de fustiger les Allemands que de se poser la question tabou: qu'aurions nous fait à leur place?</p>

A l’heure où les sondages politiques annoncent une montée en puissance de l'extrême droite en France, et où des voix s’élèvent contre les régimes totalitaires en Afrique du Nord, nous avons voulu faire entendre ce texte criant d’actualité, qui incite à lutter contre toute forme d’oppression et de racisme.</p>

« Grand-peur et misère du IIIème Reich » est un merveilleux tableau historique que nous avons voulu faire redécouvrir à travers un choix de sept scènes parmi les vingt-quatre qui composent le recueil de Brecht, ponctuées par un choeur de masques neutres commentant les diverses situations ou poussant la chansonnette en s’accompagnant d’instruments de musique comme le concertina ou le violon, propres au cabaret allemand, et bien d’autres bien plus insolites et clownesques.</p>

Un homme et sa femme tendent l’oreille afin d’entendre l’arrestation d’un de leurs voisins qu’ils ont dénoncé car ce dernier écoutait des émissions étrangères à la radio.</p>

La croix blanche:</p>
<p dir="ltr">
Un soldat de la SA prend une bière dans une cuisine où travaille sa fiancée, une jeune-femme de chambre, en compagnie de la cuisinière et du chauffeur. Arrive le frère de la cuisinière, un chômeur aux idées clairement opposées au régime. S’ensuit un jeu malsain au cours duquel le SA tente de piéger le chômeur dans le but de l’arrêter.</p>

A la recherche du droit:</p>
<p dir="ltr">
Un juge se perd dans les méandres d’une justice où «est juste ce qui sert les intérêts supérieurs du IIIème Reich», dans une affaire mettant en cause un groupe de trois S.A, un bijoutier juif et un chômeur.</p>

La femme juive:</p>
<p dir="ltr">
Une femme s’apprête à quitter son mari pour le protéger des représailles raciales qu’il subit pour avoir épousé une juive et prépare le discours d’adieu qu’elle lui adressera. Parce qu’elle est juive, elle se voit privée de tous les droits les plus fondamentaux, y compris celui d’être aimée par l’homme qu’elle a épousé.</p>

Le mouchard:</p>

Un couple panique lorsqu’il s’aperçoit que son enfant a quitté la maison subrepticement alors qu’il venait d’émettre quelques critiques à l’égard du régime, car l’enfant se plait beaucoup aux jeunesses hitlériennes.</p>

Placement de main d’oeuvre:</p>
<p dir="ltr">
Une femme vient d’apprendre la mort de son frère, pilote, officiellement décédé lors d’un «exercice de manoeuvre», mais dont la mort est suspecte. S’ensuit un débat sur l’armement de l’Allemagne.</p>

Référendum:</p>
<p dir="ltr">
Des ouvriers écoutent à la radio l’entrée triomphante d’Hitler en Autriche suite au référendum sur le rassemblement des peuples allemands, et décident d’intervenir en s’engageant dans la résistance et en distribuant des tracts contre le régime.</p>

Le texte est là bien sûr mais s'y ajoutent une mise en scène, changements de décors, de vêtements, d'atmosphères parfaitement bluffants et un jeu d'acteurs au service du message de Brecht. Bravo à toute la troupe pour ce moment, sa façon de nous rappeler ce que fut la montée du nazisme pour la population allemande.</p>

Une troupe jeune et dynamique qui s'accroche avec talent sur certains passages méconnus de l'histoire de l'Allemagne d'avant guerre. Ils ont su retranscrire toute l'angoisse engendrée par les évènements tout en préservant la touche satirique que l'on recherche chez Brecht. L'exercice de style est ardu et le résultat remarquable. Ils joueront encore cette pièce jusqu'au 28 avril alors ne laissez pas passer votre tour, ce serait vraiment dommage, surtout au vu des efforts déployés afin de maîtriser les accents toniques de la langue allemande. Il est en effet difficile de prononcer "Reinickendorf"! Bref, c'est juste génial!</div>

Cette troupe d'excellents comédiens a sublimé cette pièce. Certes, le sujet est grave, mais sans être pesant. Une succession de tableaux relatant les heures sombres de l'Allemagne d'avant guerre. Très loin des pièces de ''Boulevard'' ( que j'adore ), en sortant du théâtre, je me suis senti un peu plus intelligent. Merci encore.</div>

A la suite d’un diplôme artistique et pédagogique du violon au Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique Franz Liszt de Weimar (Allemagne), il intègre le Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood afin d’élargir sa palette de jeu grâce à la pratique des musiques actuelles et improvisées. Parallèlement, il développe une activité de concertiste avec le quintet Distango et le groupe de chanson Ailleurs.</span></strong></div>

Par la suite, il joue le rôle-titre dans Britannicus de Racine, et Covielle dans le Bourgeois Gentilhomme de Molière au Théâtre Espace Marais. Puis il participe au stage de Jack Waltzer, membre de l’Actor’s Studio New York, et tourne dans plusieurs court-métrages. Son activité avec la compagnie Branle-bas d’Arts débute en 2011, à l’occasion de la préparation de la pièce “Grand-peur et misère du IIIe Reich” de Bertolt Brecht. Il y interprête deux personnages et prend en charge l’arrangement des interludes musicaux prévus dans le spectacle.</span></strong></div>

Au court de ces années, elle entreprend un travail sur le théâtre de l’objet et la mise en abyme du théâtre qui lui vaudra un 19/20 au bac.</span></strong></div>

Ce dernier lui conseillera de faire de la comédie son métier. Quelques mois plus tard le voilà donc au bord de la "seine".</span></strong></div>

<strong id="internal-source-marker_0.7778893455397338"><span style="font-size: 15px; font-family: Arial; background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Après un passage en hypokhâgne et en khâgne ainsi qu’à l’Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lettres et Sciences Humaines, Malena passe quelques années aux Etats-Unis, où elle enseigne le français en tant qu’assistante à Washington University à Saint Louis dans le Missouri, tout en terminant sa maîtrise d’anglais et son master de lettres.</span></strong></div>

Elle intègre les cours Florent où elle suit les cours de Lesley Chatterley et d’Isabelle Duperray qui l’initient à la méthode Meisner, mais aussi ceux de Mélissa Broutin, George Bécot, Frédérique Farina, et d’Antonia Malinova. Malena se forme également à la technique du masque auprès d’Alexandre Ethève, et suit des cours de comédie musicale auprès de Michel Durand et de Laurent Austry. Elle participe également à des stages de cinéma encadrés par Juan Pittaluga, Stéphane Medge et Chad Chenouga. Elle tourne par ailleurs dans plusieurs court-métrages et devient assistante de cours d’Acting in English Intermediate Class aux cours Florent.</span></strong></div>

Nous avons besoin de 2500 euros pour nous aider à payer l'hébergement et l'intendance pour nos sept comédiens pendant le festival d'Avignon.</p>

La location du théâtre dans lequel nous jouerons pendant tout le Festival OFF 2012, le théâtre Carnot, représente à elle seule un budget très lourd pour notre compagnie, auquel viennent se rajouter les frais de transports, de communication (impression des affiches et flyers) et les frais inhérents au spectacle (accessoires alimentaires à renouveler chaque semaine et affiches de propagande collées pendant chaque spectacle).</p>
