Les Déesses Sucrées

This crowdfunding project is based on the project of Cloé Neher. This young woman of 30 years old founded the Sweet Goddesses collective following the publication of her book "1,12 g/L Ma vie après le diabète". Very involved in the Type 1 diabetic community, she wishes to show other women victims of this disease that they are not alone and that others understand what they are going through. Hence the creation of this collective whose objective is to unite, create a "sisterhood" and weave links. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease, and occurs when the pancreas no longer produces insulin. People with this disease are therefore prone to hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia and must act accordingly, either by taking sugar or injecting themselves with insulin. This type of diabetes is a disease that usually starts in childhood or early adulthood, and it lasts for life as there is no cure at the moment, although research is advancing to make the lives of diabetics more comfortable. The goal of Sweet Goddesses is to bring together young women with type 1 diabetes. This allows them to talk about issues that affect them all. The objective is that they do not feel alone and to compensate for "a lack of psychological and emotional support". Our crowdfunding campaign would be an opportunity for Cloé to raise funds to solidify the foundations of the collective by creating a website and setting up a database and contact information including specialists, psychologists, dieticians in order to be able to exchange with them if we feel the need. But it would also be a financing for a one day event, there would be the reservation of a sports class, a brunch organized afterwards, then the creation of a mini collection of sweatshirts with the effigy of the collective with the addition of some goodies.
