Núria Rovira Salat - 1st ALBUM

After her very first EP La Madre, Núria is now working on an even bigger project: her very first album! As a dancer and singer, Núria positions herself as a citizen of the world, blending the arts through her roots and achievements. After her first EP, La Madre, in which she shared her world as a woman, mother and artist, she continued her writing work, using her two mother tongues, Catalan and Spanish, as well as her "life" language, French. At the same time, she continues to work on her visual universe, tracing a path between Almodovar icons and Arcimboldo still lifes, with Georgian photographer and designer Irma Charikadze. Inspirations 🌱 With this album, Núria takes up the theme of flowers, the meaning they give when we offer them, receive them, destroy them, soinge them, which inspires her new compositions. In this way, she get in touch with a new emotional territory by developing the language of flowers and their colors, what they evoke in their fragrances and symbolism (love, comfort, blossoming...). Núria now brings her influences to bear on a pop musicality that feeds on her languages and her geographical and stylistic references... In this writing process, she alternates and mixes Spanish, French and Catalan like three living languages. Her aim is to relate her journey as a woman and the reconstruction of her identity, with the guiding thread of moments of introspection with herself, which have helped her to understand herself.
