Premier album du Ellen Birath Band

Ellen Birath is from Sweden but lives in Paris since four years back. She was first spotted by the singer and trombonist Paddy Sherlock at a concert in an Irish pub in the 6th arrondissement:

She has since moved to the front of the stage and now has her own group, Ellen Birath Band, with musicians that are all very sought after on the Parisian swing and jazz scene.  Ellen Birath: vocals, Thomas Ohresser: guitar, Matthieu Bost: saxophone, clarinet, Marten Ingle: bass, Thomas Join-Lambert, drums (not on this picture).

The group mixes standards from several generations. Their eclectic repertoire includes everything from Broadway jazz and swing to The Beatles and The Cure. Hear for yourself in this recording, made in an apartment in Paris:

Are you as excited about their first album as we are? Join the project! We hope that our different offers will suit you, regardless of how much you want to contribute.    Thank you for helping us start up the Ellen Birath Band adventure!

Do you want to see the band live? It's easy! Join us at 20:00 on Sunday, February 17 and March 3 at the Coolin Irish Pub in Paris, 15 rue Clément 75006

Allocation of funds

The money raised will be used to finance the entire process of creating the album:  recording studio (rehearsals and recording sessions), mixing and mastering the album, graphics for the CD cover and SACEM fees in order to manufacture the disc.

As you can see, there are quite a few steps that need to be financed but with your help - we can do it! If we manage to raise at least 3000 euros we can consider promoting the album in the press. If your contributions are even more generous we can organise an album launch concert, which you will of course be invited to attend.

Thank you again for your support and see you soon!
