PUCIE : Plus de scène pour les pastèques ?

Chers, chères ami(e)s, collègues et collaborateurs(trices),</h4>
<p> Certains d’entre vous nous connaissent déjà, d’autres pas. Nous sommes la <strong>Cie Sapharide.</strong> La compagnie Sapharide naît en février 2013 de la création du duo <em>Infiniment Double</em> crée par Mélanie Favre. En 2015, le solo <em>Corps</em> crée par Mélanie Favre voit le jour. Androgynie et genre sont les mots d'ordre de ses créations. En 2016, Julie Botet s’associe à la compagnie et signe avec Mélanie Favre PUCIE, la troisième pièce de la compagnie et première co-création. </p>

<p>Depuis un an et demi, nous développons donc <strong>le projet PUCIE</strong>, pièce chorégraphique à mi-chemin entre la <strong>danse, le théâtre et la performance</strong>. Il s’agit d’une création pour trois danseuses, qui veut imaginer l’existence d’un <strong>langage corporel originel</strong> propre à la <strong>femme</strong>. Cette recherche est avant tout un constat empirique autour de l’être-femme, qui <strong>met en scène « l’impudique » féminin</strong>. Elle donne à voir <strong>une danse originelle</strong>, tellurique, cyclique et circulaire, une danse qui ne ment pas, ancrée dans le <strong>réel métabolique et biologique</strong> de l’être féminin.</p>
<p>En mars 2017, PUCIE n’en n'est qu’à ses balbutiements. De multiples résidences de créations s’enchainent et nous mène successivement à Lille (Le 188), Barcelone (NunArt), Bruxelles (Garage 29), Aurillac (La Manufacture Vendetta Mathea), Roubaix (Théâtre de l’Oiseau-Mouche), Steenwerck (Atelier Danse). C’est d’abord la naissance d’un duo qui se transforme en trio avec l’arrivée de Lora Cabourg en décembre 2017. Notre démarche prend donc en poids et en sens . Dès lors, nous imaginons PUCIE comme <strong>une création démultipliable à l’infinie</strong>. « La femme n’existe pas mais il y a des femmes. Pas une seule femme ne peut représenter la femme,<strong> pour la dire toute il faudrait toutes les femmes </strong>» (Her, Fives Minutes).</p>

<p>Depuis presque deux ans, la Cie Sapharide s’engage dans un discours pour les femmes guidées par leur danse et leurs intuitions originelles. C’est pourquoi la forme trio ne serait qu’une prémisse à la forme finale que nous envisageons. Il s’agirait désormais d’accéder à <strong>une dimension plus universelle</strong> en repensant la pièce pour neuf danseuses ou plus. Cette nouvelle étape permettrait à notre projet de <strong>gagner en force, en puissance et de ce fait en sens</strong>. Notre intention première serait d’accueillir <strong>toutes les différences</strong> quelles qu’elles soient et d’ainsi rassembler en un même espace-temps un groupe de femmes hétéroclite, qui serait <strong>symbole de cette universalité</strong>. L’ensemble de nos recherches nous amène à penser que<strong> cette notion d’ampleur serait la clef vers la cohésion</strong> et l’aboutissement de notre propos.</p>
<p>L’aventure PUCIE ne peut pas s’arrêter là car elle n’a pas encore eu l’espace de déployer toutes ses forces et potentialités. PUCIE : <strong>une ode à la féminité toute puissante qui réclame désormais plus de corps et d’histoires de femmes distinctes</strong>. Qui dit nombres, dit moyens. Pour parvenir à cette ultime étape, <strong>nous avons besoin de vous.</strong></p>
<p>Tout d’abord avant de nous lancer dans le grand bain de cette recréation (à neuf), nous devons continuer à faire vivre PUCIE (le trio). C’est en multipliant les rencontres, les festivals que nous pourrons convaincre les structures de collaborer avec nous. Nous y travaillons chaque jour et nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que PUCIE vient d’être sélectionnée pour le <strong>Festival Chouftouhonna, Festival International des Arts Féministes de Tunis </strong>qui se déroulera entre le 6 et le 9 septembre 2018. Le transport des artistes n’étant pas offert par le festival, <strong>nous nous en remettons à vous chères/chers ami(e)s.</strong> Cette opportunité d’aller à Tunis serait une véritable <strong>consécration</strong>, <strong>une prise de parole symbolique</strong> et l’opportunité d’exporter PUCIE <strong>hors France et hors Europe</strong>... L’ensemble de nos allers-retours va nous coûter pas loin de neuf cent euros aller/retour pour nous trois.</p>
<p>Le reste de la cagnotte sera dédié à <strong>notre future recréation et pour les neuf pastèques </strong>! Cette aide nous serait essentielle pour de multiples défraiements : les transports des neufs interprètes, la nourriture lors des périodes de résidences, la construction du décor et des costumes pour l’ensemble des interprètes. Ce qui équivaut à un total de presque cinq mille cinq cent euros. </p>
<p>Il semblerait que tout se joue maintenant, les murs s’ouvrent, le message va pouvoir circuler par-delà nos frontières. <p>Some of you know us already, some don’t; we are <strong>Sapharide Company. </strong>The Company was created in February 2013 out of the duo <em>Infiniment Double</em> created by Mélanie Favre. In this work she investigates through choreography topics dearto her heart such as ‘body’, ‘gender’ or simply ‘being’. In 2015 Melanie Favre presented her second performance, the solo Corps, which questions androgyny through the female body. <p>Since a year and a half we are working on <strong>PUCIE</strong>, a performance that mixes<strong> dance, theatre and performing arts</strong>. This trio proposes a sarcastic overview of the <strong>problematic issue of gender equality</strong>. As a telluric relationship constantly calls bodies to the earth – the nourishing earth, our common mother – it’s time to reveal the systematic nature of things and <strong>question our status as woman-mother.</strong></p>
<p>In March 2017, PUCIE started its adventure. We are making several residencies internationally: in Lille - FR (Le 188), Barcelone - ES (NunArt), Bruxelles - BE (Garage 29), Aurillac - FR (La Manufacture Vendetta Mathea), Roubaix - FR (Théâtre de l’Oiseau-Mouche), Steenwerck - FR (Atelier Danse). After 10 months, Lora Cabourg joined us in December 2017, and our duet became a trio. Our choreographic research take all his sence and we are now imagining it as <strong>demultipliying piece</strong>. Now we wish to dance it <strong>with five, eight, nine, or even more female dancers. </strong></p>

<p>Since almost two years, the Sapharide Company has been engaging in a speech for <strong>women guided by their dance and their intuitions</strong>. That's why the current trio is just a premise for the final form that we envision. Rethinking the performance with<strong> nine dancers would give us the opportunity to access a universal dimension</strong>. Therefore our first intention would be to welcome <strong>different types of bodies</strong>; whatever their differences, to gather in the same space-time as a group of heterogeneous women, a <strong>symbol of this universality</strong>. This step would allow our project to gain in <strong>strength and power</strong>, as we believe, through all of our research, that this notion of scale would be <strong>the key to cohesion and allow us to reach the outcome of our intention.</strong></p>
<p>However, the adventure of PUCIE cannot stop there. Why? Because it hasn’t yet had the space to deploy all is force and potential. <strong>It's an ode to all-powerful femininity that now calls for more bodies and women’s stories</strong>. However, increasing numbers requires financial ressources. To achieve this final step, we need you. </p>
<p>The money we would raise from crowdfunding would go to two different causes. Firstly, before we start this <strong>new recreation of PUCIE with nine dancers</strong>, we must <strong>continue to support the trio</strong>. It’s by many meetings and performances that we will be able to convince the theaters to collaborate with us. We are working on it every day and we are happy to announce that <strong>PUCIE has just been selected for the Festival Chouftouhonna, International Festival of Feminist Arts in Tunisia </strong>from september the 6 to the 9<strong>. </strong>Therefore we rely on you, dear friends, to help us raise money to meet the transportation costs for the three of us (almost 900 euros) that are not supported by the festival. This opportunity to go to Tunisia would be a real consecration; a symbolic event, and the opportunity <strong>to export PUCIE outside of Europe.</strong> Secondly, the rest of the crowdfounding money would be dedicated to expenses in order <strong>to continue our research and recreation with more dancers</strong>; e.g. transport and food costs for nine dancers during our residences, the construction of our set and costumes, and of course, buying nine watermelons!</p>

<p>La collecte KissKissBankBank nous permettrait donc de <strong>payer les transports des trois artistes</strong> (Mélanie Favre, Julie Botet & Lora Cabourg) vers la Tunisie pour le Festival des Arts Fémininstes de Tunis, Chouftouhonna. Pour ce ceci, nous avons besoin de<strong> 900 € soit 300 € </strong>chacune pour un aller-retour.</p>
<p>Le reste de la cagnotte sera dédié à notre<strong> future recréation de PUCIE avec neuf interprètes </strong>pour une résidence de 1 mois. La collecte serait un coup de pouce de départ pour cette nouvelle étape de travail.</p>
