My journey started with studying law and international relations many years ago. I was passionate about starting my career in international relations as a way to contribute to healing the conflicts of this world. Nevertheless, I rapidly realised that the root of ALL conflict lies in the deep psychological wounding of us humans. Often these wounds stem not just from the trauma of a person’s own life, but from deep unresolved trauma from past generations. As becomes clear in practices such as Family Constellations, we are all influenced - often without knowing - by the traumas lived by our ancestors, which when unhealed are passed down in the DNA and education given from parents to children. I observed that our society is deeply traumatised and most people are functioning from a survival state. The result of this is wars (inner and outer) and the destruction of our planet Earth. The good news is that with the huge evolution in past decades of our understanding of human psychology is that we are the first generation that has the TOOLS to heal the trauma that marks generations. I decided to devote myself to this root cause of conflict: the need for deep healing. Myself, and others. I went deeply into human psychology, therapy, and spirituality. I believe that the reason that there are so many healers, therapists, coaches, ‘life coaches’, etc. emerging today is that humanity NEEDS deep healing. I also believe that while most healers have innate talents, working with the most vulnerable parts of other human beings is an art that requires serious training. As such, I completed a 4-year foundational course in coaching and therapy in the Netherlands (while working part-time). I then further specialised in Family Constellations, the Enneagram (another 4-year training), and Feminine Leadership trainings with multiple, high-level mentors. For the past 5 years, I have worked as a therapist and coach with individuals, teams, and… women. My own personal journey brought me on a very deep exploration of the trans-generational trauma that is at the root of the crisis of confidence that exists amongst so many women today. I believe that the root cause for a lot of the hurt and destruction of the world resides in our cultural suppression of the feminine. (Note: both men AND women have feminine and masculine energies, so this suppression is detrimental for BOTH women AND men. Healing needs to happen on both sides.) Being a woman, I dove into my healing journey and became specialised in women’s work. Through my project (@the.womans.way), retreats, and programs, I have been guiding women in their healing journey for the past 5 years. My work focuses on the liberation of women’s blockages like impostor syndrome, perfectionism, anxiety, and doubts, guiding them to access the grounded and empowered version of themselves, who steps into her purpose with pleasure, confidence, and the power to make her dreams come true. It combines psychology, science, and spirituality and goes very much in depth. (My main program, She Leads from Soul, is an 8-month journey. I also host retreats and shorter programs - as the one below!). The work is incredibly deep and it is always very rewarding to witness the transformations each woman goes through. Simultaneously, I am always evolving, learning, and growing. After a few years of integrating and teaching my learnings, I have known for a while that my next step is calling: going even deeper into the work of liberating the power of women and the feminine. Where is that? The deep healing of women’s sexuality. Not just to heal our sexuality (which is already immense!) but because sexual energy equates to life force energy. Our relationship with it is DIRECTLY connected to our creativity, radiance, and confidence. YES - a pleasure-connected woman is a confident woman! It’s biological. Most of us are taught to believe that pleasure is at the very end of the to-do list. In truth, the more we connect to our life force through pleasure, the more confident, creative, AND productive we become! The wounds of sexual trauma are very deep in both men and women, and this impacts our culture deeply in many ways - far beyond the bedroom! (Up to the wars and destruction of this planet). The path of Tantra (“weaving together”) is an ancient tradition that teaches us how to harness our life force sexual energy to both heal our trauma deeply AND awaken our greatest potential. It is among the deepest and most potent teachings of humanity on how to heal and embody our true potential. Like in any sector, there is a wide variety of tantra teachings - and because sexual trauma is SO sensitive, it is VERY important to me to here also only train with the highest quality of teachers. This is how extensive research led me to the renowned Tao Tantric Arts training. This intensive 6-month training has been running for 14 years and is led by Shashi Solluna and Minke de Vos, two of the leading global tantra teachers, who have been in it for 20+ years, studied with the greatest masters including Mantak Chia with whom they co-authored a book. The course is very holistic as it teaches Tantra WITH the East Asian philosophy and practices of Taoism. The graduates that I know are highly qualified. The time has come for me to take this step - both for my healing and to bring my work with women to the next level. AND HERE COMES THE PLAN: The 6-months training starts this April 2024 - in the form of a one-month intensive (from 7 am to 10 pm every weekday) in Mexico, followed by 5 months online.
