S'AIMER DEMAIN, édition photographique par Maxime Muller

The project "S'aimer Demain" (which means "Love Tomorrow") is a photographic project documenting the Folsom Street Fair, the largest BDSM gathering in the world. Initially created in San Francisco for more than 30 years, this parade allows different sexual orientations to meet, experience and have fun outdoors. Folsom Europe was created in Berlin in 2003, opening a new center of representations of queer and kinky cultures. Many films and videos were shot on this occasion, creating a real enthusiasm in the community. In September 2022, I went to this festival for the first time with the aim of producing a series questioning the relationship to sexuality and exhibitionism. I brought back Polaroids, colors slides, and black and white film images. The artist Born in Lyon in 1997, lives and works in Arles (France). After studying medicine, I obtained a European Bachelor's degree in contemporary images at the Bloo school (Lyon) in 2018, then I joined the National School of Photography in Arles the same year, where I obtained my Master's degree in 2022. In order to inventory my work, I carry out self-publishing on the queer world and its limits. Self-publishing DYSTOPIA IV: Pallas was shortlisted in the Author category for the Rencontres d'Arles Book Prize in 2021. The same year my first book was released with a publishing house entitled The Girl you lost to cocaïne, entirely printed in risography, with Rien Ne Va Plus (Paris) ; this was followed by a second work at KERMESSE entitled MONO. I have also been published in magazines such as Trotz, L'imparfaite or Pornceptual.
