Aujourd’hui, Prison Insider lance, après 18 mois de travail préparatoire, un outil indépendant et d’utilité publique, un indice mondial des prisons dénommé Prison Life Index. La construction du Prison Life Index représente un travail colossal. La première étape d’élaboration est financée par les fonds propres de Prison Insider, fonds qui ne sont pas illimités. Prison Insider, international resource for information and discussions on prisons, will offer, in open access, a space for action. 4 ways to act will be proposed:</p>

- A space for the reflexions around prisons: writers, artists, researchers and activists will be offered an open opinion tribune to help us think, to understand the images of prisons and the representations they suggest,</p>

- A space for donation: skills, time, or money,</p>

- A space to stay in contact with Prison Insider: newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, etc.</p>

<strong>Crowdfunding: 20 more days to convince</strong></p>

We are in the last 20 days of our crowdfunding campaign, and we have attained 78% of our final goal of 20 000 €. What a great news! Some of our closer supporters gave us some serious money and we are very flattered by it. We also wouldn't want anyone to think that a smaller amount (5, 10, 20 €) wouldn't make a difference. 20 € gives access to the first year of existence of the website!</p>
