Springcoil - Exil

Springcoil is an electronic music project (ambient/dark ambient) launched in 2020 by Pierre-Emmanuel Maréchal and which, to this day, counts to its credit : an EP as a download (Fragments, 6 tracks, 2020) an album published as a download and on CD (Mirages & Ondulations, 8 tracks, 2021) The next album, "Exil", is presented as a long piece divided into 2 parts, a kind of sonic journey navigating between contrasting ambiances, which explore various sound textures. Moreover, this album, recorded in home studio in February 2022, and mastered by Pierre Bartholomé at Green Field Studio (Ham-sur-Heure, Belgium) would represent the culmination of the live experience of the project, the piece having been played during live shows in the course of the year 2022. Finally, next July and still for this new project, Springcoil will be in residence in Namur (Delta) in a collaboration with Fabian De Backer for the addition of live video (VJing) and Ioana Tamas for the creation of a custom visual universe. The trio will work on the elaboration of a live performance as well as sound and visual.
