The Moving Cycle Adventure

This was when I felt the need to reach out to <strong>people who might have never had the opportunity to experience or discover this wonderful form of expression</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>    <img alt="5-1480697163" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/374118/5-1480697163.jpg"></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>I want to <strong>share my art</strong> through therapeutic dance/movement workshops and performances with<strong> minority groups</strong>, people who are marginalised by the social system and those facing the challenges of <strong>poverty</strong>, therefore after years of training and performing with the ‘Ballet Junior de Genève’ and also with ‘ŻfinMalta’, I feel the desire to move onto a project that is more personal to me.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Another strong personal motivation of mine is that whilst living in a world of <strong>high technology</strong>, <strong>using a bicycle</strong> allows me to:</p><p> </p><p>- Be <strong>ecological</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>- Be <strong>economic</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>- <strong>Reconnect</strong> with humans and nature.</p><p> </p><p>- <strong>Motivate and inspire </strong>people. He discovered Dance in 2009 at 'Espace 13' in Béziers.</p><p>In 2010 he began training at 'Epsedance' in Montpellier (France), followed by two years with the Ballet Junior de Genève (Switzerland). In Geneva and Montpellier, Gabin learned a lot of different works by different choreographers such as : </p><p> </p><p>Hofesh Shechter, Barak Marshall, Roy Assaf, Ivan Perez, Andonis Foniadakis, Guilherme Botelho, Stijn Celis, Mavin Khoo, Thierry Malandain, Alexander Ekman, Crystal Pite, Gilles Jobin, Ken Ossola, Francesca Tranter, Cindy Van Acker, Corinne Lanselle,  Christine Hassid, Claude Brumachon, Salia Sanou, Magalie Viguier, Severine Prunera, Rudy Bryans and Anne-Marie Porras among others.</p><p> </p><p>In Geneva Gabin had the opportunity in Geneva to create his own piece for a programme called "Carte Blanche" in collaboration with Oscar Sanchez. They had the opportunity to teach the duet entitled "<em>Weight and Think</em>" to another cast in the program "MIX8" in Geneva from 6 to 8 December 2013.</p><p> </p><p>In the summer of 2014 Gabin was engaged as company member of 'ZfinMalta Dance Ensemble'.</p><p> </p>
