#THISisESN l'Expo

Solidarity.</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> Words among others, but with something in common: they sum up the experience of students in international mobility. It is a rewarding adventure that permanently changes these students’ perception of the world! Beyond learning foreign languages, they discover new cultures. International exchanges shape openminded and adaptable young people, whose strengths are their language skills and a large European network. All these qualities make these people very popular to employers.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>A word about ESN</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Logo_paris-1461580078" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/308100/logo_paris-1461580078.png"></p> <p>  </p> <p> ESN is an international network, composed of 500 associations in 38 European countries. It is also 34 sections all over France. Our Parisian section consists of 60 volunteers, who welcome and help more than 400 international students every year.</p> <p>  </p> <p> In our section, 5 golden volunteers work in this project!</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Photogroupe-1463688356" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/318562/photogroupe-1463688356.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Fadile</strong>, 23, I am the project manager of the exhibition but also a law student as well as IT. I am very involved in ESN Paris to improve the reception of international students here in Paris but also within the Regional Council for Youth provide youth a voice inside public institution.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Claire</strong>, 21. After falling in love with Ireland, my host country during my Erasmus experience two years ago, I wanted to help to welcome international students by joining ESN Paris back in France. I am committed to promote international mobility and to convince anyone who still has a doubt about it, of the human, academic and professional benefits of this adventure.</p> <p>  </p> <p> My name is <strong>Ferhat</strong>, I am 22 and besides studying international business, I am a travel freak. I acquired this sense of adventure and discovery thanks to my Erasmus experience, so I am now an active member of the ESN Paris section and #ThisIsEsn l’Expo to communicate and share those values.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Marie</strong>, almost 21, from Nantes and recently Parisian, media student at the university Paris 2. I dreamt about Erasmus exchanges for a very long time, the possibility of realizing the exhibition would be a foretaste of it</p> <p>  </p> <p> My name is <strong>Audrey</strong>, I’m a student in the international program of marketing and communications. Actually I’m doing an internship in Sydney for a sport federation. I’m passionate in travelling and discovering new cultures. Thanks to the exchange program ERASMUS, I had the opportunity to spend 12 months in Finland, last year to complete my degree in psychology. I chose to support this project, as I am an ESN member and have a huge interest for the International.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Barredoc-1463688612" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/318566/barredoc-1463688612.png"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Why this exhibition ?   </strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> International exchanges have become more and more popular: go on Erasmus has become a real asset for students. Indeed, companies appreciate profiles with an international experience. However, for many young people, going away on an international exchange seems to be unattainable.</p> <p>  </p> <p> This is why it is important to share with them the testimonies of those who have lived this adventure, without forgetting the involvement of the institutions and associations, especially for <strong>the 30th anniversery of Erasmus program</strong>!</p> <p>  </p> <p> Indeed, they are the ones helping of the students to integrate in their host city, to meet people and to enjoy their semester or year abroad.</p> <p>  </p> <p> The ESN sections and other associations are recognized by local institutions and the European Commission, and have become essential players in the integration of young people in international mobility.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Exhibition's format</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> This ambitious exhibition is named #THISisESN l’Expo. It will last a month and will start in February 2017. Each ESN section will contribute to the exhibition with several testimonies: one of an international young adult, one of a volunteer of the section, and one of a local student who participated in the section’s activities. Finally, every section will illustrate its work with a picture they consider as representative of their territory or their activities. Testimonies will be videos or written testimonies. The exhibition will be interactive and multi-format. Likewise, sponsors exhibiting will be able to choose their contents.</p> <p>  </p> <p> In practical terms, ESN Paris wants to cover the ground with a huge map of Europe, that will be composed of all the pictures sent by the sections: it will be the heart of the exhibition. This map will direct the visitors towards the testimonies. A paper version of the map will also be available. All along the tour/path, a Twitter feed and live testimonies left by the visitors will enliven the visit.</p> <p>  </p> <p> This exhibition will take place in a town hall of Paris earlier 2017 and will be <u><strong>FREE</strong></u>!</p>
